Physical Description: Blonde hair and blue eyes.

Mental Description: John likes routine and all of his habits (the ones he didn't like initially, such as doing homework, have grown on him). He also likes novelties. He's very patient and sticks it out through tedious things because he trusts that something special will happen once enough time passes. He's deathly afraid of silence and dislikes anyone who doesn't small-talk him back. He uses cats as his primary small talk topic even though he dislikes them because he is under the impression that cats are universally liked.

Biography: John's parents, Seren Davies and Milo Duarte, are both firefighters. He lives with them, two dogs, and two rats on a farm animal sanctuary run by his uncle. His parents homeschooled him in order to take him along on adventures in between their shifts. Generally, these excursions took place outdoors in rural places, so that a couple of the animals could be brought along. His parents took their jobs seriously and set a strict bedtime for themselves, but nonetheless they vacationed for as long as possible every week and then sped to get back home in time for bed.

First Instance of Magic: On a highway, a heavily modded truck almost hit John (9 years old), who was leaning out of the car window. John disappeared and then reappeared once his parents’ car overtook the truck.
