Physical Description:
Mari is half Korean on her mother’s side and half British on her father’s side. She has almond shaped, chocolate brown eyes, a round button nose, fair skin and long wavy black hair. Mari stands at about 150cm in height. She prefers not to wear glasses and instead puts contact lenses in daily to see.
Mental Description:
Mari is pretty shy around people she doesn’t know but when she opens up she has a very bubbly, bright, sweet personality. She is often making jokes, usually sarcastic, and will occasionally play harmless pranks or goof around to make others laugh. She gets along well with most people, as long as they are kind and respectful to her she will give the same back. Mari loves to spend time with her friends but also enjoys time to herself as well to work on hobbies and interests. She tries her best at everything she does even if she doesn’t succeed right away she will keep working on it until she finally does.
Biography:
Mari grew up in London, raised by her father, William, and her mother, Sumin. Her parents had met when William was visiting South Korea on a trip and they fell in love at first sight. When her father told her mother about being a wizard and the magic world after they were engaged, Sumin was a shocked at first to say the least but was very accepting of it. Soon after they were married they had Mari and 3 years later they had her younger brother, Jae. Growing up she did different activities like singing, learning guitar and piano and loved to sit outside and draw. She had some close friends but she was especially close with her neighbor Ella who she frequently spent time with. Her mother worked as a nurse at the hospital treating patients while her father worked with magical creatures. Her father taught both of the children from a young age that they were part wizard and told them all sorts of stories of his time at Hogwarts causing trouble and learning all different types of magic. Mari always thought her father was just telling stories until the day she had her first instance of magic after which she was set on going to Hogwarts and having her own adventures like her father.
First Instance of Magic:
Mari’s first instance of magic was when she was 8. Her younger brother had taken her favorite teddy bear from her causing her to become angry and upset. She made the bear fly through the air straight into her arms.
