Physical Description: Katrina is Black, with big brown eyes, a slightly wide nose, and full lips. Her hair is black, and is usually kept in long braids. She has her ears pierced and loves to play with different earring styles. She is short, about 4'9"; she will only probably get to be about 5'2" (her mother is short).
Mental Description: Katrina is outgoing and unafraid to speak her mind (usually). She is goofy and loves to joke around. She often has a witty comment for any situation. If she is quiet or doesn't have a smile on her face, people often assume something is wrong because she hardly ever shows when she is sad. It takes a lot to make her angry, and she does not express herself when she is. She usually cries when she's angry. She has a twin brother who is quieter than she is. She stands up for him when he can't/won't stand up for himself. Because of this, she feels the need to stand up for others when the need arises.
Biography: Katrina was born in Birmingham, England to a Kenyan Mother and a Black Italian Father. She is older than her twin brother. by 10 minutes. Growing up, her parents wanted her to know her extended family and their home countries. They took trips to both countries often. Katrina speaks Swahili fluently and her Italian passable. Katrina is a pureblood. While her father knowns almost nothing about the muggle world, the African wizarding world is more open to learning about and coexisting with muggles. Because of this, Katrina's mother grew up with knowledge about muggles, which she made sure her kids knew as well. When she was 8, while visiting family in Kenya, her little sister was caught in the crossfire of two dueling wizards. She was too little, and died from her injuries. Katrina saw this happen. She can see threshals. She wears a necklace whit her sister's name on it.
First Instance of Magic: Her first instance of magic happened when she was 4. Like most little ones, she loved sweets. Her mother wouldn't let her have anymore cookies and moved the jar far out of Katrina's reach. When her mother left the room, she stared at the jar angrily. Then, it popped into her hands! She shared them with her brother and between the two of them, the jar was quickly emptied.
