Physical Description: Eli is below average height, about 4'11", and slender, with slightly tanned skin due to his Thai heritage. He has short wavy hair that fluffs up over his forehead. His eyes are also brown, and he has a round face. He can usually be seen wearing some form of shirt/sweater or turtleneck combo, along with his grandmother's necklace that he was left when she died. The necklace means a lot to him and he never takes it off.

Mental Description: Eli is a very cheerful person on the outside, always cracking jokes and making sarcastic quips. He is witty and quick to make a comeback. His relationships with friends often involve them just casually insulting each othis in friendly verbal battles. On the inside though he is deeply confused and struggling with who he is, and the pressures of balancing his family's expectations with his own life. He still tries to remain upbeat though, so his friends won't see his sadness. He also has mild ADHD, which causes him to be easily distracted and bubbly, which can lead to awkwardness.

Biography: Eli was born in Guildford on 7th September 2011 to his Thai mother and English father. Being Muggle-born, he spent most of his early life fairly normally, going to the local nursery and making friends. He discovered a love for ballet at a very young age, a passion that would stay with his for the rest of his life. When Eli was 2, his parents had another child, Kamala. He was now faced with the responsibility of being a role-model and steadying influence for his younger sister, and he took that role very seriously. When he started school, he learned to read and write very quickly, often joining the class above for phonics and English lessons in infants school.

When he got to junior school was when he made his first proper friends. He formed a close relationship with Millie, a quieter girl in his year. One of his best friends was a girl named Deiva. It was here that he discovered a love for singing and acting, taking part in school choir concerts and productions. Through this, he met Noah, and the pair became inseparable, like brothers.

It was at this time that he realised how different he and his sister were. Her family dismissed his dreams of becoming a professional ballet dancer one day, and often praised his for good grades, but nothing else. He started struggling to balance his parents high expectations for his with his own ambitions and goals. When his magic manifested, his parents grew scared of him, and decided that sending him to hone that magic was a good idea. He hated the idea of leaving his friends, but knew he had to, for his future had just taken a very different turn.

First Instance of Magic: When Eli was 10 years old, he was invited by his friends to a sleepover. The conversation turned to horror stories, and he got so frightened that he made a pillow levitate and explode in a shower of feathers.
