Elias Owler is a young, auburn haired boy with dark brown eyes. He is quite tall for his age, since his parents are tall as well, around 153 cm (approximately 5 feet). His hair often looks quite messy, he doesn’t bother styling it. He also hasn’t had a haircut in quite some time. His hair is middle length and wavy. His face is oval shaped, with not that sharp of a jawline. He is built pretty lean, with a little bit of muscle, since he is still young and spends most of his days outside. He isn’t skinny but also not that chubby, somewhere in between.

Elias always tries to be polite and kind. Mostly to his friends. He can be very protective of his friends and family, and in return trusts them with his life. He is quick to trust someone, which has turned out badly for him in past situations. He finds himself good at making new friends, but doesn’t always manage to keep them. He desires to be liked by others. He rarely gets angry. Elias is a very calm, loyal, trustworthy and honest boy. Sometimes too honest. He is also very clever and is used to passing easily in school. This however does not mean he can’t work hard. He is ready to put all his effort into whatever he might face next.

Elias has had a lovely childhood so far. His parents, Patrick and Amber Owler always took good care of him. His father is a muggle-born and his mother a witch. He has two younger brothers named Oliver and Finley. He spends loads of time with his brothers, playing games and going outside a lot. He and his family live just outside Dublin, in a pretty big house with an even bigger yard. Elias enjoys being in the yard, he often just sits on his swing, that is hung on a branch and was made with the help of his father, to think about anything and everything. He also is often found in the garage, where his dad teaches him how to fix cars. His father is a car mechanic and his mother used to work for the Ministry. Now she always stays at home to take care of her family. His father doesn’t make a lot of money with his job, but they mostly live of off the inheritance his dads parents left behind. Elias takes joy in drawing as well. He likes to draw people, like his brothers or a random woman he’s spotted on the street, but also animals. He goes to a muggle school in Dublin, where he has a singular best friend. Arthur. Arthurs family and Elias’ family have always been friends. Elias and him spent their entire childhood together. It started off a somewhat of a forced friendship, but as time went on, they became inseparable. Elias isn’t that popular at school. He used to be, since he was friends with a popular boy, named Hugo, but when the boys were nine, they had an awful argument. It led to a fight, which was won by Hugo. He broke Elias’ nose and ended their friendship with that. Ever since Elias has been ignored by most of the students. Luckily his real best friend stayed by his side. His mother always hoped her oldest could become a wizard one day, but there was no proof he possessed magic until that one, special day.

It was the 11th of July, about a month before his eleventh birthday. Elias was reading a book whilst sitting on the swing in the backyard when his mother called him inside for dinner. She was still standing in the kitchen, finishing stirring the soup she’d made. Oliver and Arthur sat at the round table, patiently waiting for their mother to serve the soup. Patrick was still in the living room, watching some show about cars. Elias sat down at the table, next to his brothers. There were five unlit candles placed on the tablecloth, in the middle of the table. Elias looked over to his mom, to see if dinner was ready yet. This always happened. His mother always called them when dinner wasn’t even ready yet. Suddenly he felt the urge to sneeze. He gave in and didn’t bother to cover his mouth. His brothers looked at him with disgust clear on their faces. Elias was about to say something along the lines of ‘what? It’s not like you two have any manners either’, when he noticed the five candles in front of him were burning. Oliver followed his gaze as Finley did the same. Their looks of disgust quickly turned into ones of pure and utter shock. Elias’ face must’ve looked the exact same. ‘Did… did I just do that? I swear those weren’t lit before!’ he exclaimed. His brothers didn’t respond, instead, they kept staring at the candles. His mother emerged from the kitchen and put down a big pan of soup in front of them, next to the candles. She noticed they were lit as well. ‘Oh, Eli, how nice of you. Did you light the candles?’ She asked him. It was only then that she noticed the looks on her sons faces. Then Elias started rambling about how he sneezed and the candles started burning out of nowhere. His mom couldn’t hide the look of happiness on her face, she lifted the boy from his chair and engulfed him in a tight hug. ‘Finally! I thought this moment would never come! Your father and I have been hoping for this, and now it happened, right before your birthday!’ She was overjoyed. They immediately told Patrick, who was equally as happy.
