❝ BIOGRAPHY ❞
Eleanor was always thankful for growing up in a smaller irish town rather than a big city like Belfast. It made her appreciate the beauty of nature more in life, rather than focusing on memorising train routes. She is the only child to her parents, Claire Vogue and Richard Vogue, meaning that she was their top focus in life. She wasn't necissarily a spoilt child, her family couldn't afford to spoil her nearly as much as they wanted to, but she definitely got more than the average child. Both her parents worked as full-time employees in the incredibly local bookstore, quite romantic really, so with the pair working a minimum wage job they tried their best.
Born to two muggles, it was quite a shock when Eleanor recieved her Hogwarts invitation letter handgiven to her by one of Hogwart's very own professors. Somehow, they has absolutely no idea that the magic gene had been present in the Vogue family's blood for many generations, with his grandmother being the last known to have the trait. It seems though, that Richard, and presumably his father too, was a carrier of this magic gene and so Eleanor was born a witch. Incredible how in the thirteen years he and Claire were married, he'd never thought to warn her of the possibility. Either way, the couple were very thankful the professor had come and had enough time in the world to explain all there is to know about the wizarding world, and the process of enrolling into Hogwarts.
❝ FIRST INSTANCE OF MAGIC ❞
It was the first day of primary school for poor little four-year-old emotionally-dependant Eleanor. She remembers it as if it were only a couple of weeks ago. Dressed in her cute little school uniform for the very first time, she stood at the gates holding her father's hand in her left, and her mother's in her right. "Alright Ellie.." she remembers her mother bending down to her height, "we'll come and pick you up once school has finished." Eleanor didn't quite process what was happening until both parents let go of her small hands and began to walk away, and like any child would, Eleanor trailed behind them. "No no , you must stay here, you'll see us later."
Ellie was overcome by a terrible wave of sadness as her parents guided her towards the school building. Once inside she began to let out small cries, followed after these cries came the ushers of her parents for her to quieten down. Her cries remaine at a moderate temper, but they had enough sadness in them for the lights ahead of the three to begin to flicker at the same tempo of Eleanor's sobs, and only returning back to their original state once Eleanor had come to terms with the fact that her parents would be leaving her alone for the day.
❝ MENTAL DESCRIPTION ❞
Being a pisces, it is only be nature that Eleanor is incredibly kind-hearted. She is always willing to lend a helping hand, or cheer up someone's day and was dubbed by her classmates as "brightest girl in the class", which is fitting as her first name means "shining light".
Despite being the brightest, Ellie has always been one of the weakest. Due to her emotional nature, she finds herself shedding tears at the slightest bit of conflict or hostility, which is definitely not ideal for a witch. She distinctly remembers crying in her teacher's office after not handing in homework a week after her pet hampster Mimmy passed because it "wasn't a valid excuse" and "hampsters don't live long, you should know this Eleanor, you're smart enough to know." So stupid, Ellie always disliked him, but it still got to her.
When it comes to her work ethic, Eleanor is always up for doing some hands-on work like manual labour or crafting projects. Spending her entire life helping out on her grandparents' farm really made her learn to find to the joy in doing such activities, and this mental attitude happened to carry over to her school work. In primary school, she was always first pick for partner projects that were less research based as the other students knew that she would happily do majority of the work.

Eleanor stands at 4'3, a tad bit small compared to other girls her age, and has a moderately smaller build than most. She has naturally curly, rich brown hair, which becomes terribly frizzy when wet, that is regularly cut to the length of her shoulders. She loves to accessorise her hair and has an extensive collection of hairclips and hairbobbles to style with. She has bright blue, doe-like eyes that seem to sparkle when she is excited, and many have commented that Ellie seems to always wear a bright smile on her face.
