Physical Description:
Thea is a bit small for an eleven year old. She has a petite frame with bony elbows and knees, the latter of which are usually scraped up or bruised. Her hair is a deep brown with auburn undertones, kept long (her mothers choice) and often unruly (her own preference). She has a light complexion with a speckling of freckles around the shoulders and nose. Thea’s eyes are a deep hazel rimmed in brown.

Mental Description:
Thea can be slow to open up at first, but is fiercely protective of the ones she loves. Once her trust is earned, Thea will always be there for her friends and family, to lend a helping hand or listening ear. She can come across as reserved and quiet, which is sometimes mistaken for shyness. Thea dislikes small talk and prefers to speak when she feels she has something to contribute. She may keep a wall up to protect herself, but behind that is a deeply caring and compassionate person who is determined, ambitious and can hold her own in a fight whether physical or verbal.

Biography:
Thea is the youngest of four children and the only daughter born to Isadora & Faolán Wiard. Her eldest brother, Elric has already left Hogwarts while the twins, Cian and Lochlain, are in their fifth year. Being the youngest and only girl in the family gave Thea a tough skin at a young age. She spent most of her free time in the woods near her house, practicing flying with her brothers or exploring the seemingly endless trees, streams and rolling hills. Thea grew up just outside a tiny town in Ireland, where there weren’t many kids around her age. For this reason, Thea doesn’t have any friends outside of her family, something she looks forward to changing at Hogwarts.

First Instance of Magic:
Thea’s first instance of magic occurred at 7 years old. Thea was in the woods playing hide and seek with the twins, when she spotted an old tree with high branches that seemed like the perfect hiding spot. She climbed up the trunk and perched herself on a branch, waiting for her brothers to come her way. The branch wasn’t as sturdy as it first appeared, and Thea began to hear the snaps beneath her. Suddenly, the limb gave way and Thea felt herself tumbling towards the rocky ground. She shut her eyes tight, and braced for an impact that never came. The twins came upon the tree just in time to see their sister slowly descending though the air towards them, appearing lighter than a feather, and a smile on her face. Her feet landed on the ground with a soft thud, her legs still straddling the now cracked and fallen branch.
