Stella Cryha Arium has semi-curled brown hair with one teal streak down the side that she had dyed when she was eight. She has pale skin and light freckles across her cheeks, which are slightly rosy. She is casual and wears sweaters and tunics, preferably green, teal, silver, blue, purple, or gray. She is on the taller end, at four foot eleven, and is rather thin.
Stella is a very friendly, extroverted character who allows many friendships. She always lets others pick out first, whether it's choosing a train seat to chocolate frog packages. She also adores nature; she can list animal facts off the top of her head. While she is also a great artist and writer, she struggles in mathematics. She believes that she will be a great wizard one day, and she might just be right. She is casual and flexible, but always the first to accept a challenge.
Stella lives in Kinsale, a small town in coastal Ireland. She lives in a yellow cottage in 23 Oakwillow Street with her loving mother, Elizabeth, her smart brother, Charlie, her cute sister, Marcy Jay. Her father, Ganthum, died when she was three in a magic duel and Charlie was eight. Elizabeth misses him but is happy working at her bakery, Sugar & Spice. She never had magic, but Ganthum did. Charlie is the only Arium child who remembers him, but Charlie never got magic, either. He tried so hard to get into Hogwarts but couldn't. He now is getting a job at Ruffwear Industries, a building company. Sweet little two-year-old Marcy Jay was born three years after Ganthum's death (which was due to an illness), when Stella was six and Charlie was eleven.
When Stella was nine, she and her best friend, Cheryl Untird, went biking on the coastal mountains. Cheryl was a year older than Stella and wanted to enter a bike race, but Stella easily was faster. They were racing up the trail when they saw the cliff, mere yards ahead. Stella and Cheryl slammed on the brakes and dragged their feet down, but they skidded harshly at high speed and wheedled over the edge! In alarm, both screamed, horrified. Stella was so terrified and overwhelmed that then and there, her first magic happened. Stella Arium started floating (yes, her bike didn), as well as Cheryl. Stella up to this day in proud of her magic!
