Axyen Dragonclaw was born into an almost Gryffindor-exclusive family, being born into such a family, it was only expected that Axyen would end up being a Gryffindor himself. However, Axyen was different, he didn't seem to be as brave or out there as his other family members; he would get embarrassed in public if his mother was scolding his brother for more foolishness or he would become scared when the lights were off since he claimed that there were monsters in the dark. Axyen was incredibly loyal and had a good heart, even to the occasional kid that was mean to him (which caused quite a bit of concern for Axyen's older brother in particular since he imagined Axyen would be easy to bully if he didn't stand up for himself), it was hard to imagine him being sorted into Gryffindor at all! However, his family remained hopeful that he would become a Gryffindor and even attempted to help him get over his fears or have him develop personality traits that would better suit their idea of a Gyffindor. They would have him wander around in the dark and play Hide and Seek until he eventually started to find it fun since his parents and brother was around, they had him be more confrontational about what he wanted and they even went as far as having him reread Hogwarts history and whatever facts were known about Gryffindor himself.

Unfortunately for them, Axyen ultimately failed to follow these traits. He was still scared of the dark whenever he was alone, he remained shy and reserved and even discovered that he loved studying and reading which his parents saw as Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff characteristics. Whatever methods they tried, it seemed like Axyen was somehow able to repel it all except a select few new things that seemed to genuinely interest him. At some point, Axyen's father was able to convince his mother that as Axyen grew older, he would naturally obtain Gryffindor characteristics if he saw how they acted in their day-to-day life. Axyen continued to being kind and hanging out with his family, he wanted to be a Gryffindor just like them and believed he was capable of doing so. However, he didn't change much at all, he picked up some ideas like standing up for yourself or trying to face his fears, but he remained static.

Axyen learned about the existence of Hogwarts and he was a big fan of the school, he was hyper about joining and desperately tried to prepare ahead of time for it. He borrowed his brother's old notebooks, he pretended to cast different spells and he tried to stay awake reading a History textbook despite already having forgotten about half of what he read. He listened to stories from his brother, he read about what Hogwarts had in store, he at one point in his life was completely uninterested in anything at all if it had nothing to do with that magical castle and its surrounding area. Axyen learned about all the different houses and became even more inspired to become a Gryffindor. He dressed in red, he had a lion plush to showcase Gryffindor spirit and he even did 'dances' (random movements and running around that Axyen claimed was him dancing) that were for the Gryffindor house. And one day, the Hogwarts Acceptance Letter arrived at the Dragonclaw house.

Axyen was beyond excited, he ran around as if he was a Niffler chasing a chest full of shiny jewels and soon enough, he visited Diagon Alley and got his supplies and his own personal wand which seemed to be the highlight of the moment. Then, he went to the Hogwarts Express and met two new people who he considers as friends. Soon, he would reach Hogwarts itself and experiencing it for the first time was an experience like no other; Axyen was amazed and shocked... the entire time and soon came the Sorting Ceremony, the big moment of truth. Just like how amazing moments can come out of nowhere, disappointment can also appear out of nowhere and Axyen was about to learn that pretty soon. Instead of being sorted into Gryffindor, Axyen would end up being sorted into the house of Hufflepuff; it was absolutely devastating to Axyen, that nervous excitement turned into absolute sorrow and fear of what his family may think.

Physical Description

Axyen is a boy with straight brown hair which is usually somewhat messy, he has deep brown eyes along with mixed skin. Aside from those qualities, everything about Axyen seems ordinary and he most likely wouldn't stand out to many people. He weighs 114 lb and his is 5'4. The only thing about Axyen that isn't absolutely boring is his facial expressions since he reacts to many things with ease, if he is thinking about something, it shows. If he is upset, sad, or even secretly happy; no matter how much he attempts to hide it, it will show in some way, shape or form.

Axyen will typically wear something that showcases his house pride,
that makes his main colors black and yellow. It isn't an uncommon sight to see him in his Hufflepuff uniform which consists of a gray shirt with three thin horizontal 'V' shaped yellow stripes at the top. He wears a black robe over it with the Hufflepuff House Crest pinned to the left side of the jacket. Additionally, he wears black jeans, matching the black robes. The inside of the robes are yellow which some people may notice if they look at the sleeves or hood or if there just so happens to be strong winds; occasionally, Axyen will also wear a yellow scarf with multiple pairs of thin vertical black stripes.

Whenever Axyen isn't wearing something in the spirit of Hufflepuff, he'll pick something comfortable and suitable for wherever he is headed. He prefers long-sleeved sweaters and sweatpants. He occasionally wears shorts or short-sleeved shirts only if it's hot outside, aside from that he completely opposes the idea.

Axyen is a timid kid who struggles quite a bit with socializing for the most part. He often needs a moment to think about what he says, otherwise he'll stammer or at its worst, everything he says will end up incomprehensible. Fittingly, Axyen is more likely to visit areas that don't have as many people in them; if that isn't possible or he doesn't particularly care for that, he'll most likely go to the area with the least amount of people.

Axyen will occasionally make an effort to try and talk to other people, usually when he happens to be in a really good mood. He also tries to do what he believes is right and does what he seems as "the right thing to do" which may result in impulsive actions. Adding on, Axyen is 50/50 when it comes to being stubborn; assuming you're unlucky enough to deal with Axyen's stubborn side, he may become what some people will see as annoying as he will just repeat his points or keep arguing.

Axyen is fairly forgetful as well, but if he remembers annoying someone that he feels didn't deserve to deal with that frustration, he'll try to make it up to them or apologize. If they don't accept that, then Axyen will just try to drop it and forget about it, which unfortunately for him, tends to just stick in his mind for longer periods of time. Axyen will usually become stressed out or overly annoyed by forgetting something he wants to remember, this can lead to him acting a bit childish to what can be described as almost exaggerated.

Axyen is also a terrible liar as he can't make eye contact, his face is off, his voice is off and he is usually shaky or rather stiff whenever he attempts to lie. The conditions for lying are when he finds something embarrassing or he just doesn't want to talk about something that happens to be bothering him or he is covering up for a friend of his. If Axyen somehow pulls off a successful lie, he will most likely end up feeling bad for it and later confess the truth later on, depending on what he was lying about to begin with.

Once you get to know Axyen, he can be quite talkative and energetic as a replacement for his usually reserved and quiet nature. Some people would consider this as Axyen being a bit 'much' because of how much he can talk and move around with enthusiasm. Axyen may randomly pause midway through his enthusiastic speech as he will suddenly remember he is being rude or he'll feel as if he is being too talkative.

Axyen will also try to show random acts of kindness for his friends, this can include writing letters or making handmade gifts for them. This is his own way of showcasing his appreciation, however, it's not the only way for Axyen to show his gratitude. He can also do something simple like trying to cheer up his friends or do something to make them feel better and depending on what it is, he may be willing to ignore the rules if it means making his friends feel any better.

Some of Axyen's hobbies include pranking people (harmless pranks), reading, writing, dueling and various other things. Axyen interests often change from time to time as he learns about different things, so he has no clue about what he actually wants to do when he gets older. Axyen has learned that there is a certain satisfaction in dueling and helping other people, so he plans to be a professor or some other helpful career that involves combat (Auror or professional duelist) or helping somebody else in some way...

First Instance of Accidental Magic

Axyen Dragonclaw was flying on a toy broom his mother given him. "Wheee!" Axyen said with joy flying up and down, slightly out of control, but the end of his broom connected with vases, books, and papers on the table, glass shattered, pages and papers flew out slowly around the area, some plates or cups were fine, while others were completely destroyed and some in-between both. "What on EARTH is happening HERE?!" His mother demanded angrily, coming into the living room. "S-sorry m-m-mom!" Axyen managed to mutter out. "Sorry isn't going to cut it!" His mom replied, with the way she looked at Axyen, maybe Azkaban would've been a more forgiving punishment. "Well it- it..." Axyen failed to come up with anything to say... at first.

"It's not my fault!" He finally shouted angrily as his hands became fists stiffly at his side. "It's not like you would ever let me outside with it!" Axyen screamed, heading towards the backyard, and unlocking the screen door. "I told you this a thousand times Axyen, only when we're away from Muggles- YOU DO NOT WALK AWAY FROM ME YOUNG MAN!" His mother screamed, she was not about to let her son throw a temper tantrum outside of all places. "IT LOOKS LIKE I AM!" Axyen yelled back, it was almost like a challenge to his mom. "YOU ARE IN SERIOUS TROUBLE!" His mother furiously called out.

"WILL YOU JUST LEAVE ME ALONE?!" Axyen screamed as he felt like he reached a snapping point. His tears started to drop onto the nice and dry grass as it casually flowed with the light breeze that day, Axyen attempted to wipe away the tears, but it was no use. Axyen was shaking, he didn't know if he felt cold from the breeze or if he was really just that upset. "EXCUSE ME?!" His mother demanded, her eyes widening as she became completely enraged by this abnormal defiant behavior. "I SAID LEAVE-" A nearby thick branch that had fallen from a tree, without any warning just snapped in half loudly; there was no logical way to describe this other than the fact that some form of magic has to have been used.

It is quite obvious due to how furious Axyen was at the time, it caused the nearby branch which he couldn't even snap even if he used all of his strength to snap; it was in fact his magic that did that as there was no other way to explain how it happened, his mother certainly didn't do it as she had control over her magic by now. Axyen jumped, he was startled and so was his mother... for a moment. Out of nowhere, his mother's face lit up all of a sudden. "Yes! It finally happened!" She exclaimed, seeming to forget all about the punishement. Axyen was lost, he was more focused on the fact that the branch snapped at all; he didn't fully catch on to what happened."Mom...?" Axyen questioned cautiously in a quiet voice, as if he was about to anger a sleeping dragon somehow.

"You're going to Hogwarts! I am so excited! You're going to do great things!" His mother explained with great enthusiasm. "Wait what?!" Axyen said, shocked. Going to Hogwarts, the school where he could learn magic? That was a dream come true! All because some branch somehow snapped in half without any warning or explanation?

"Yes! It feels great doesn't it, here! We'll celebrate at dinner tonight!" His mother announced as the punishment or temper tantrum seemed to have gone forgotten, not like Axyen wanted to remind her. "Okay mom!!!" Axyen said happily with a bright smile, he was really going to learn magic for some reason; not like he was complaining about it though. Axyen was ready to try and prepare himself for Hogwarts, so he explained to his father and older brother what happened and then his father told him something that made Axyen's shock look like it came from a cartoon character. "Axyen, that branch snapping half was your magic." Axyen's father informed, watching Axyen's reaction. "Wait, that was me?!" Axyen said, flabbergasted.

Axyen couldn't believe it, for the first time in his life, he performed magic! He didn't even know about it at first, but now that he did, he couldn't even stay still anymore! This was all incredibly exciting to him and suddenly, life has improved greatly; all Axyen could think about was that branch randomly snapping in half.

Axyen Dragonclaw

A timid kid, especially since he is one of the only Hufflepuffs in his current household, the other Hufflepuff being his friend Arnold, a Pygmy Puff. Axyen spends a lot of his time living his best life and enjoying his time at Hogwarts. He is incredibly ambitious and seems to spend his time doing the hobbies that he enjoys.

Jacob Dragonclaw

Axyen's older brother, a prankster and horrible at potions. He currently works as an Accidental Magic Reversal Squad Member for the Ministry of Magic. Jacob also finished his Hogwarts Education not so long ago. Although he does annoy his little brother, he does wish for the best for his younger brother and may even act defensive, as much as he tries to deny that. Because of the nature of his job, Jacob is often pretty busy now and spends less time on trying to prank people and more time studying ways to reverse jinxes, curses and other spells of the sort with more ease.

Axyen doesn't publicly admit it, but he misses the old times when Jacob would play an annoying prank on him, not it just feels like Jacob has absolutely no time for Axyen and only sees him as an annoyance of some kind.

Liam Dragonclaw

Axyen's younger brother, currently at the age of 6 years old is currently too young to attend Hogwarts, but is already looking up to Axyen. Liam and Axyen are very close and Axyen loves to teach Liam about his experiences at Hogwarts as well as other various facts. Liam recently has his First Instance of Accidental Magical and has shown to love Every Flavor Beans for their unpredictability.

Sarah Dragonclaw

The mother of Axyen Dragonclaw, she is shown as protective and is not afraid to publicly state her opinions no matter how controversial the topic is. Sarah is genuinely disgusted at the Muggle World due to the fact that Muggles had a history of doing bad things, such as Witch Hunts and because of Muggles being frightened by Magic and not willing to try and understand it, it led to the International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy which greatly annoys her. She tries to share her views with her younger sons since Matthew and Jacob already seemed to have let the past be the past, something Sarah believes would just repeat. She is annoyed that she is unable to get Axyen to see the harm that Muggles have caused to the Wizarding World; however, her being a supporting mother nonetheless reluctantly accepts Axyen's opinions and attitude towards Muggles.

Matthew Dragonclaw

The father of Axyen Dragonclaw and married to Sarah Dragonclaw, Matthew works in the Ministry of Magic as a Magical Researcher. He believes that the Muggle World isn't horrible and despite the conflicts between Muggles and Wizards, believes that some time in the far future they can peacefully live among each other. Matthew also proudly supports Axyen's choice in learning about Muggle culture and trying to embrace certain aspects of it.

Arnold Dragonclaw

Axyen goes to the Magical Menagerie where he sees Arnold Dragonclaw for the first time as well as other various pets and animals, some of them creep Axyen out, and some of them are cute and some of them Axyen just loves because they seem like great listeners, but when Axyen spots Arnold, Arnold sticks out from everybody else; Arnold is a friend for life.

Purple Pygmy Puff Born on December 21st, 2022. (2 years old.) Male

Arnold Dragonclaw is a Purple Pygmy Puff which Axyen loves deeply and treats Arnold as if he is Axyen's best friend. Axyen is excited to have Arnold and is willing to go through the process of training Arnold and playing around with Arnold, he is also excited to teach Arnold tricks. Axyen is successful in training Arnold and although Arnold has a rebellious side, Axyen shows a deep love for the Pygmy Puff and the two share a very close bond with each other. Arnold Dragonclaw is a male purple Pygmy Puff, and was born on December 21st, 2022.
