Physical Description:
Nella is a little short for her age at 4'8" but thats not unusual for her family. She has long, straight, white blonde hair, and heterochromatic blue and grey eyes. She tends toward being quite fair, although in the sun she is liable to get a smattering of freckles if she doesnt just burn outright. Her voice is soft but bright, and with her slight figure she can sometimes be mistaken for being younger than she is.

Her casual dress style is heavily cat and alt inspired - think cat eared hoodies and fashionably mismatched stockings. She lives to be cute and comfy in her style, often pairing cute skirts with larger hoodies, tights and sneakers or covers or similar. She also loves playing around with accessories, and her favorite currently are a pair of thick black glasses- sold ostensibly for blue light reduction from screens rather than prescription- but she wears them to "look smart."

Mental Description:
Bright and bubbly describes her to a 't'. She is an eternal optimist, always trying to see the bright side of life and the good in others. She is also a hard worker, but can tend to spread herself thin helping others. She has a good sense of herself and a big serving of confidence to go with it.whilst she likes to learn she is mostly driven by a desire to do well at whatever it is she is doing, rather than learning for knowledge sake.

Her guilty pleasure is curling up in a comfy armchair with a cup of tea or hot hocolate and losing herself in a muggle fantasy novel. She knows it's silly, as she comes from a world of actual real magic, but she loves the adventures the characters go on and fancies being a heroine herself.

Biography:
Lisa and David had been trying for a child for a while. It seemed that maybe their family was to be just the two of them. And their tabby cat Tosca. Just as they were about to give up, their bundle of joy came along in the form of Nella.

Both parents doted on her, and she grew up to be a well loved child. When her magic showed up both parents were overjoyed, and plans for her to go to Hogwarts were made. However, they also wanted to be sure she embraced both sides of her heritage- muggle and magical. So she was also enrolled in, and attended, the local muggle school.

She grew up learning about the muggle world, embracing what technology she could (the house wasn't always very conducive to things like computers). Her grades were excellent, and she even had a small group of good muggle friends. The biggest challenge in her short life was dodging sleepovers at her own house and covering up accidental magic. The latter of which she thought was unfair because her friends would love it and absolutely keep the secret - which as a child she believed thoroughly no matter how true or not it was in actuality.

With her mum being a potion mistress for St. Mungos and her father running the local funeral home (a family business) her parents were often busy but that didn't mean distant. She was known fondly by their colleagues and got to see a lot of things kids her age hadn't- like simmering cauldrons and the deceased. She's going to miss being around every one so much (and the tech!) but is super excited to be going to her mums old school.

Her farewell party is behind her, the cover story being something hasty about a strict private school hence why she won't be able to text or email while she's away. Now she's excited to be off on her new adventure... and to follow in her mother's Ravenclaw footsteps of course!

First Instance of Magic:
Nella's first instance of magic naturally involved books. Her dad would often read to her as a child before bed, and it was during one such occasion as he read her favorite muggle story - where the wild things are - that she made the pictures move to act out the story scenes.
