Physical Description: Zane is a tall, skinny disaster of a human with a wild mop of dark brown hair and equally dark, wild eyes. He looks like he hasn't slept in a week and he probably hasn't, honestly. He always seems to have tiny cuts and bruises all over his body which makes you think he must bump into every wall, bush, and low-lying monument. Save for his height, there's nothing really intimidating about him- so don't be surprised if he loses a fight to a strong gust of wind.

Mental Description: Zane has always been fanatical, to say the least. He's always buried into something, the interest of the week, and he's a professor in like, a dozen different subjects because of it. Ask him what he's reading. He will tell you, and you won't ask again.

Biography: Two words to describe the Miller household: organized chaos. Zane's dad is an Auror and his mom works at a small, magical shop, leaving their days hectic and when they come home it's even worse. Zane lives with his younger brother Alfred, and they usually are left to fend for themselves most of the time. Zane, being the oldest, tries to be a good older brother by making food and taking care of things- but that usually ends up in flames (literally), so Alfred usually has to take over. Besides that, Zane likes to spend his time reading, writing, doing odd "experiments" and playing with the family cat Fluffy.

First Instance of Magic: When Zane was around seven or so, he was absolutely infatuated with his father's copy of The Encyclopedia of Magic, but he was too short to grab to off the top shelf when his father put it back. He tried standing on top of his dad's office chair, fingers sprawling to just grab it, but he ended up summoning the book and it hit him in the face. He fell backward, landing with a thud. He was confused. Hurt, slightly satisfied. He ran out of the room crying to his mother moments later.
