Physical Description: Jasper is eleven years old. She is 148cm (about 4'10") and of an average weight for an eleven year old, if a bit on the lighter side. She has narrow shoulders with long arms and legs. She has pale, lightly freckled skin and a rosy complexion. Her hair is black and has a natural curl to it. Her hair is currently cut just past her shoulders. Because she spends most of her time outside when she's at home in Ireland, she usually has it pulled back in a ponytail or braided if she has some help in the mornings. Her eyes are dark green in a round shape. She has a small birthmark on her right ankle -- four small spots. Her mother calls it her "paw-print."

Mental Description: Jasper is a curious, imaginative child. She enjoys spending time in the outdoors and has a love for all creatures -- large and small. Her empathy is well-developed. She does have occasional moments of anger when she is frustrated or overstimulated. Sometimes when this happens, she expresses her frustration by lashing out verbally at friends or family. She's usually quick to recover and apologize, but she's yet to be able to keep her temper before the trouble starts. Nevertheless, she continues to try. She never had much focus in muggle classes unless the subject happened to intersect with her own interests. That being said, she has a love for all things whimsical and mysterious.

Biography: Jasper grew up outside of Galway with her dad, Harry, a Muggle. Her mom, Lilah, was a witch that passed away when Jasper was three. Her parents were married and Harry knew his wife was a witch, but since Lilah didn't get on very well with her family, they didn't interact with the magical world often. As Jasper got older and started to show signs of magic, Harry knew he had to learn more about the magical world so that Jasper wouldn't be in the dark. After the age of six, Jasper saw her magical grandparents, the Gilligans, on holidays so that she could be introduced to her other culture. When she wasn't learning about her magical future as a child, Jasper spent almost all of her free time exploring the nature near her home. Now, at eleven years old, she still loves to spend her time exploring and inspecting wildlife, but she also likes helping her dad with his work. He's a gardener and she loves working with the plants. She loves the idea of Hogwarts and is looking forward to attending (she had a dance party when she finally got her letter). She always loves talking to her grandparents to learn more about what it will be like. She has a beloved mixed breed dog, Gilly, that lives at home. Jasper insists that this is who she'll miss the most when she starts school.

First Instance of Magic: When Jasper was four years old, she was exploring the woods near her house. She was climbing a tree and reached for a rotted branch. Instead of falling on the forest floor, she briefly levitated before hitting the ground. She was unharmed. Jasper thought that she had imagined or made this up, since adults always said she had an overactive mind. It wasn't until she was five years old and her dad witnessed an incident involving disappearing vegetables that she learned she was a witch.
