My name is Amelia Grimsy. I live in London, England. I am eleven years of age. My hair is medium length and brown with blonde highlights. My eyes are green most of the time, but every now and then they look blue. I wear black glasses that have thick, squares frames. My hobbies include reading and writing, listening to music, and playing with my pet cat. Sometimes I like to play the piano and sing, too. I also like to be outside, taking in the scenes of nature as well. Animals, to me, are amazing creatures that I believe we take for granted. My most favorite thing to do is write stories. There’s just something about creating your own world that’s very awesome to me. I do not have many friends here so I am excited to be heading to Hogwarts this year. I am hoping to make many new friends in whatever house I am sorted into, and I am also really excited to learn about the Wizarding world and how to perform magic. I have been waiting for this day for so long. I can hardly contain my excitement. I cannot help but wonder if all the other first years are just as excited as I am. They would be bloody crazy if they were not! I cannot wait to see all of you there!
