Mika has light brown/olive skin and chocolate brown eyes. His hair is inky black and curly, making it quite unruly and hard to style and constantly falls into his eyes. He is about 4'10" (147 cm) and is healthy, but thinner.
Mika is quiet and reserved. He doesn't like physical touch or casual conversation. He would much rather watch everything happen and observe than participate. He isn't shy nor does he have social anxiety, he simply prefers not to be the center of attention. He likes reading and knowledge, but he has constant plans to get out of situations and complete his goals and ambitions most easily and efficiently as possible. He likes Quidditch and the idea of being a seeker, the silent, quick scanner of the skies, and is determined to make the team one day at Hogwarts. He thinks he can bare everyone looking at him for the satisfaction of winning a game.
He loves food, specifically pumpkin-flavored things (pumpkin juice, pumpkin pie, pumpkin pasties, and, if he was a muggle, pumpkin spice anything from Starbucks.) Although he is cool-headed and down to earth most of the time, if you were to even think of touching his food (ESPECIALLY his pumpkin foods), you would meet a side of him that is very unpleasant. Let's just say he's stabbed someone with a fork before.....
Mika grew up in a very, VERY small, but important, town not too far from London. The town's name is Snidget and it is named after the small bird the Golden Snitch is based on (this might explain Mika's wants to become a seeker). Wild Snidgets are very rare but can be seen in the town. His mother and father (mother: Maria Xerphonius, father: Marcus Xerphonius) had two kids before Mika. They are fraternal twins. The male twin is named Robin and the female twin is named Jamie. By the time Mika starts Hogwarts, both Robin and Jamie had already graduated. Jamie is training to be a Healer and Robin is training to be an Auror.
Mika always looked up to his older siblings, but at the same time felt an obligation to do as good as them. He takes out his stress by pranking them all the time. Just because he is reserved doesn't mean he can't have fun.
He grew up in a moderate household. His family wasn't too rich, but being pure-blooded and his parents working for the bank meant that their income was more than comfortable. They moved to London a year ago because of a job promotion his father got at Gringotts but kept their childhood home back in Snidget. They live in a flat in a wizard-prominent community, but Mika preferred Snidget and wants to return to living there. He has a Godmother who lives in London also, but she is so busy being a Healer (the inspiration for Jamie to become one), that Mika rarely sees her.
His first instance of accidental magic was when he was 4. He was on a play broom being reckless and his mother took it away saying that if he can't be careful with it, he won't be able to play with it. It was during the winter, so the surrounding grass was covered in a glittering sheath of frost, making the ground crunchy. He threw a tantrum (remember his love for Quidditch) and stomped his foot. In a 3-foot (about a meter) radius around him, all the frost instantly melted. His mother forgot about the anger she had and instead hugged him and celebrated, leaving Mika confused.
