Physical Description:
Harris is on the short end for his age, only 4' 3". He has short, messy chocolate brown hair that fluffs up very easily. The tips are dyed a dark red that blends in with his natural hair color so easily that it isn't often noticed at first glance. Both of his eyes appear to be the same shade of hazel, however his right eye is a pale blue, but is covered by a colored contact.

Mental Description:
Harris is not very outgoing. He is definitely on the shyer side. While he is perfectly capable of interacting with new people and making friends, and rather good at it, he prefers to stay inside and draw. Though, as he has gotten older, he has gotten slightly more extroverted. He is incredibly friendly and optimistic. Even if he doesn't know someone, he assumes the best in them. However, he can also be quite stubborn, which is not always the best trait, even if he doesn't always voice it. Harris also has ADHD, which both helps and harms him in various ways. He can hyperfocus on any topic that interests him, which magic luckily is one of them, but he is also prone to getting distracted and sidetracked easily. Despite that, he is rather quiet, even when ranting about his passions.

Biography:
Harris was adopted by his two muggle fathers at the age of three. He doesn't remember much about his biological parents, but he knew his mother could do magic. Elliot and Nolan Nocturne were both friends of Harris's mother and adopted him when she could no longer take care of him.
He lives with his fathers and two of his three older brothers. His eldest brother, Dustin, had always been close to Harris. Despite the age difference, nine years apart, the two have always been close. His other brothers are Carter, the second oldest at seventeen, and Kasey, the youngest older brother at thirteen.
Growing up, Harris adored Dustin and was heartbroken when he moved away. Now, he clings to Kasey and Carter as much as they will let him. Both of them are so proud and excited that he got into Hogwarts but are also sad that he's going to be leaving.
Harris is also quite nervous to be leaving his brothers. While he is great at science and math, he has just a few issues with English, his dyslexia not helping in the slightest. Up until now, his brothers or fathers have helped him with reading, he doesn't know much about the magical world, but he only hopes that they understand and can help with his dyslexia.
Harris doesn't have many close friends, but he does have a best friend, Laura, a muggle girl only a year younger than Harris. She's far more outgoing than Harris and drags him off to explore far more often than he would like. She is the reason that Harris meets a lot of people. Laura has introduced him to as many people as she knows, which is significantly more than how many Harris knew. She is the main reason Harris is slightly more comfortable leaving his comfort zone than he used to be.

First Instance of Magic:
The first time Harris used magic was when he was roughly five. Dustin, who was fourteen at the time, arrived home from school with a new scented candle he had bought. Harris, interested and curious in everything, was elated when Dustin showed off the apple-scented candle. Over the next week, he had seen the candle lit multiple times, though only by his older brother. Eventually, the little Harris asked if he could light the candles himself, Dustin immediately turned the question down. The upset Harris, who thought himself responsible enough to wield a lighter, tried to argue with his older brother. During their "argument," Harris found that he had lit the candle through magic. They were both confused and amazed, as was the rest of his family, who knew nothing about witches, wizards, or the magical world.
