Physical Description: Edward "Ed" Foxe is 4 feet 8 inches tall and of normal weight. In his dimensions, he looks like the average 11 year old boy. What's not average are his fox-red and slightly curled hair and his green eyes. He tries to keep his hair tidy, but a few curls always stick out.

Mental Description: Edward is a rather quiet kid. He is not necessarily shy, but he prefers calm environments and thinking before talking. He loves books and spends hours reading them in the library. He prefers to stick to the rules and does not tend to question them. The only rule he's got trouble with is going to bed on time. He always continues reading secretly under his bedsheets. He's got a slight obsession with numbers and is thus very fond of his birthday (20/10/2010). He likes tidy and clean places and always tries to bring things in order. He does not really like his red hair as it brings attention to him and had been the source of name-calling in the past, especially in combination with his surname. Ed is an ambitious kid and can be a bit perfectionist. Although he understands concepts quickly, his perfectionism and need for tidyness often gets in his way when it comes to actually doing things. He prefers to have it all figured out before he starts something, often resulting in overanalyzing things.

Biography: Edward was born on 20th October 2010 to a muggle mother and a wizard father. His father was muggleborn before, so his parents kept magic a secret from him until he had his first instance of magic because they feared he was non-magical and would be disappointed. They lived in the outskirts of London and Edward visited a muggle school thinking he was a normal kid who just wasn't as cool as the others. Other kids sometimes made fun of him because he was so orderly and always carried around a stack of books but mostly he was left alone.
He spent hours upon hours in the public and school libraries, accumulating knowledge and losing himself in fantasy novels.
Of course his parents noticed and at first, they tried to intervene and invite some classmates for dinner. However, they noticed that the resulting conversations stayed rather polite or awkward.

First Instance of Magic: On 20/10/2020, Edward's 10th birthday, a new girl, Rachel, became part of their class and Ed was feeling weird. He was somehow drawn to her but on the same time too shy to talk to her. He did what he always did when he was overwhelmed, he left for the library and sorted books. This time, however, his thoughts were with the Rachel and suddenly, a book came flying, yes flying(!), towards him, hovered in mid-air, turned to page 77: "Talking to girls - what to say and how to say it". Horrified, Ed jumped back, but the book was following him. He looked around if anyone else was there. He was alone. He squinted his eyes, rubbed them and took a deep breath. But the book was still hovering in the air. After the first shock, he was rather curious, both of the chapter and finding out the reason behind this strange behaviour. He tried to think of another book, "The history of books and libraries", his favourite. And there it would come, flying at high speed towards him. He dodged but the book came to a halt before they could collide. What a weird day.
On the same day at dinner, Edwards thoughts drifted away from his parents conversation and before he could stop the thought, a book came flying across the table and past his parents heads and landed on his empty plate. He was horrified. He had not daydreamed in the library. Now his parents saw it as well.
What he didn't expect was their reaction: His mother burst into tears, smiling. His father had the biggest smile on his face that Ed could remember.
That night, they told him everything and since then, Ed read all the books their parents got on magic and got really excited to visit the coolest place in the world: Hogwarts.
