Physical Description: Melissa is quite tall for her age, at 5ft, or 152cm. She has fair skin and wavy honey blonde hair, along with electric blue eyes.

Mental Description: Rational and quick-witted, Melissa prides herself on her intelligence and ability to think for herself, not to mention her uncanny knack for seeing right through phoniness and hypocrisy. She is extremely independent, and doesn't mind working alone- in fact, she rather enjoys it. She may also assume others to be lazy and doomed to mediocrity without getting to know them.
Due to this, Melissa may come across as rather cold and insensitive, but she does care. Sometimes Melissa may find herself coming across as rude or offensive, when she is only trying to be honest, since she doesn't see the point in little white lies.

Biography: Melissa was born into a pure-blood family, a long line of witches and warlocks tracing back to medieval times. Her parents hold a rather pure-blooded view of muggles and muggle-borns, believing those pure of blood to be superior.
Personally, Melissa has never seen why blood status mattered- after all, if you can succeed and prove yourself to be someone, why did it matter if your parents were wizards and witches? She hasn't been afraid to say this to her parents either, only to be told that she would understand when she was older, which Melissa found really annoying.

First Instance of Magic: Melissa's first instance of magic happened quite early, when she was four, much to the delight of her parents. Her mother had just given her what Melissa thought was a truly terrible haircut, and went to bed feeling rather grumpy. But when she woke up the next morning, her hair had grown back to its original state! Melissa's parents were so pleased they didn't even cut her hair again!
