Juliette Sinclaire

Physical Description: Juliette is short for an 11-year-old, standing at only 134 cm. She has raven-colored curls that she can never quite manage to control. Framed by thick eyebrows, her left eye is a hazel green with specks of gold around the middle while her right eye is a deep blue for she was born with heterochromia. Her dark skin is covered in freckles from head to toe. An athletic girl, her body is toned from the many sports she played as a child, her favorite being Quidditch.

Mental Description: Raised a proud girl, Juliette is firmly set in her beliefs. She's headstrong and stubborn, it's near impossible to win an argument with her, and you can bet she'll do everything in her power to start one. With a hot headed temper, she jumps to conclusions without much evidence and makes assumptions that most of the time end up being untrue. On top of that, she's extremely witty, coming up with quick sarcastic comments at any time of day. She's one of the most loyal people you will meet, however she is slow to trust people. She comes off as cold and rude, but once she deems you worthy of friendship, she'll begin to warm up to you. However, that doesn't mean an end to her insensitivity, she lacks empathy and has a hard time realizing when she crosses a line. She fills up her schedule as much as she can to avoid extra time that would leave her with nothing to do except dwell on thoughts and feelings. As closed off as she is, Juliette is a sucker for having some mischievous fun, up for playing a prank at any time. Her resourcefulness and quick thinking often helps her escape from tough situations but with her devious plans still succeeding. Additionally, Juliette is extremely athletic and will often leave to workout when she can find the time. Exercise provides an outlet for her when her temper nears exploding.

Biography: Growing up in a pure-blood family, Juliette was instilled with strict morals and harsh beliefs from an early age. Her parents were old school, despite the defeat of the Dark Lord nearly 30 years ago, so blood supremacy was extremely important to her parents, causing Juliette's childhood to consist of only interactions with the "right" sort, meaning other pureblood witches and wizards. Her parents raised her in an hands-off parenting style, which meant Juliette was often on her own to learn how to provide and entertain herself. She did have a tutor, one of her parents' friends, who taught Juliette the basics of her education. As absent as they were, her parents expected the utmost best from Juliette, starting with what they deemed a proper education. Juliette also lived with her older brother Atticus, who was a lot more sympathetic and caring towards her than their parents. Because their parents lacked the ability to create a loving household, often leaving their children to entertain themselves alone while they left for work at the Ministry, Juliette and Atticus formed a tight bond. They would often make-up imaginary games to play or would engage in a round of Quidditch with other witches and wizards their age. The two of them often got up to mischievous trouble, unbeknownst to their parents, playing pranks on the house elves or guests that were staying in their large manor. After long screaming lectures or silent disappointment from her parents at her failure to live up to their harsh expectations, Atticus would always be there to comfort her. He was Juliette's support system, the only one she completely trusted. Atticus, being four years older, supplied Juliette with many exaggerated tales of his adventures at Hogwarts once he became of age to attend. It became harder and harder for her to let him go every September, for their rules and expectations grew with each year she got older. Although he frequently sent her letters, she grew very lonely while he was gone. She was somewhat jealous of her brother for being able to escape for several months while at school, but held onto the hope that she would be joining him shortly.

First Instance of Magic: Juliette's first display of magic happened at an early age and to no-one's surprise. She was about a year and a half old and was upset that her mother was taking so long to bring her back a snack. She had been sitting in her high chair for what seemed like eternity to the toddler and she was hungry so she began screaming at the top of her lungs. When her mother rushed in to check on her, she found Juliette drenched head to toe in water as a small storm cloud was pouring over her as she continued to scream and cry for she was now hungry and uncomfortably soaked.
