Physical Description: Lonnie’s looks are nothing special, or at least that's what she says. Her hair is a shade of dark blonde, though some would say it appears brown in the right lighting. Her wavy, untamed locks flow down to just above her shoulders and her eyes are a dark, foggy, blue. Her skin is a pale, rosy ivory and dotted with freckles all across her face and shoulders. She's a pretty good and decent height for her age, standing at 4'10.

Mental Description: Lonnie Berman is quite the interesting personality. Bright and witty, Lonnie’s always had a quick mind. The girl’s imagination and brain occasionally seem to get the best of her, and she finds herself zoning out and daydreaming quite often. But Lonnie’s wits don't come without thorns. Sarcasm and snarky comments seem to be Lonnie’s favorite thing, and the girl has a bit of trouble with keeping her comments to herself. Lonnie’s always lacked a grip of tone and social cues, and ‘reading the room’ has never really been her strong suit. She’s occasionally a bit too honest, or never knows the right time to keep her mouth closed. She’s talkative, and she tends to ramble, especially when it comes to her interests. She’s got an overactive brain with a lot of thoughts, and while she may seem obnoxious and awkward at first, Lonnie doesn't usually mean harm. And while the girl is more of an introvert, preferring to keep to her thoughts and imagination, to those who do get to know her, Lonnie’s pretty charismatic, and not to mention funny.

Biography: Lonnie was born to muggle nursing student Josephine Berman (neé Taylor) and Auror Edward Berman. Edward had met Josephine at a bar while he was on a business trip to Brighton, charmed by her kind personality and humor. The young couple claimed it was love at first sight, and in less than a year of knowing each other, the two were married. Before they knew it, another year passed and Alana Grace Berman was born on a cold Brighton night on December 5, 2010.

The family’s life seemed perfect, with a homey loft in Brighton and financial stability. But a crack was forming in the foundations, slowly pulling the family apart. Because there was a side of Edward that both Josephine and their young daughter didn't see. The Bermans, a reputable pureblooded family, were not ones to be associated with muggles. But at the time Edward had been blinded by his love for Josephine. And so he lied. Both to his family and to Josephine. Keeping his life as a wizard secret to Josephine and his life in Brighton secret from his family.

Ridden with guilt, Edward slowly began to crack. He became irritable, involuntarily releasing his frustration and guilt on Josephine. The two began to argue. It started as occasional and slowly progressed until it was daily. And so, after about three years of a happy life with her family, Lonnie spent a year pressing pillows over her ears as she heard her parents argue every night. Two years before Edward left, right before Lonnie’s fifth birthday. He went home, back to his family in London, but yet he never told Josephine his secret. And so Josephine, and by extension, Lonnie, never found out about Edward’s double life.

And that's how Lonnie spent the rest of her childhood. Raised alone by her mother, who now worked a seven to five job to help provide for the family. To put it simply, Lonnie spent a lot of her life alone, left with nothing but her own imagination. The girl was strange to say the least. Curious, imaginative, and a tad bit obnoxious. She lacked a grip of social cues and an extremely overactive brain. These aspects along with her past didn’t seem to mix well at school. The girl had trouble making friends, even being picked on from time to time.

And as for her father? Well, one of Lonnie’s favorite pastimes was asking her mother about her father, who she only vaguely remembered. Her mother wasn't much help, considering she'd never get into the specifics, but Lonnie got the general idea that her father was an absolute prick. And while she was always curious, her continuous failed attempts to get any information from her mother was enough for her to understand that she'd just have to be content with what she had.

First Instance of Magic: Lonnie’s first instance of magic came when she was seven years old. It was early in the school day and the children in her class were sitting as they waited for the teacher to arrive. Considering she had no friends to talk to like the other kids, she began to zone out. Detached from her surroundings, Lonnie’s boredom got the best of her and she began to begin drawing on her desk with a marker. It wasn't until she had drawn across the whole desk that she snapped back to reality. As she realized what would happen if the teacher saw what she had done, she began to panic. But suddenly, the desk seemed to wipe itself clean, seeming as if nothing had happened, right before the teacher walked in. Lonnie shook it off as a figment of her own imagination, and luckily, none of the other children seemed to notice
