Faye is a petite young girl, standing 4'3 and weighing at 80 lbs. she has milky fair white skin, and slightly wavy long dark brown hair that ends just at her rib cage, sometimes a little frizzy. she has olive green hooded eyes, with semi-long eyelashes. her eyebrows are dark brown and think. her lips are pale pink and are often chapped. (face claim is India joy Eisley)

Faye is to put it the best social awkward, she has a hard time talking to new people and introducing herself. Though when first met, she seems very closed off and aloof, once she warms up she's pretty reckless and outgoing and can make spontaneous decisions. Though even when you are close to her, she can be very quiet at times, her nose stuck in a book. she enjoys silence, but not loneliness. she also isn't the best at asking for help, and it has to be offered first.

Before she got her letter, she lived a pretty simple life, with her grandparents. nothing tragic happened to her parents if that's what you are thinking, no they just work in France, but they are usually busy, so they had her live with her grandparents. she has an older sibling, but he graduated from Durmstrang years ago, so she doesn't see him often. she normally just helped her grandmother with her books, and really just read a lot. though she often found herself in the field outside of the house with a book in her hands, enjoying the sun, though it was usually cloudy.

The first time she used magic was when she was around 7 years old. It was almost her birthday and usually, her parents would come home from France to celebrate with her, but that didn't happen this year, instead, they sent a package and a letter telling Faye that work kept them from coming and hoped the present would make her happy. it didn't. Faye was mad, sad, and betrayed. she never complained about them being gone all year round, but this wasn't just a normal day, no she was turning 8 soon. she never asked for much, just for them to be here one day out of the 365 days of the year. Tears of frustration and anger pooled in her eyes, her small hands clutched the letter tightly. The more she thought of how they are never there, the more rage she felt until it popped. Or more like the present did. The very box her parents sent to her seemed to pop like a balloon, whatever was in there vanished into pieces of paper. Her grandparents that were trying to soothe her let out startled gasps, stepping back from where the box once sat. Widen eyes, Faye stared at where the box was, tears still falling down her cheeks. she wasn't even mad the box was gone, she didn't want what her parents gave her.
