Backstory:Johnathan, or Jhonny as he prefers to be called, had a very good life before his mother, Ananya Faust, announced she was a witch. He went to the zoo every other month, got fantastic birthday and christmas presents, and hadn't a care in the world. Mom and Dad (Gregory Faust) had been happily married for five years, and they were the kind of couple who grossed everyone else out with their gross PDA. Then, as I mentioned before, Mom revealed she was a witch. At the tender age of 8, when Johnny began exibiting the signs that me might be magical, Ananya sat down her husband and explained everything. Gregory was, of course, sceptical, but he was suitably convinced when Ananya began preforming feats of magic in front of his disbelieving eyes. Johnny's life was never the same. His parents marrige fell apart, though both refused to divorce, and Gregory began drinking. He got mean when he was drunk, often knocking around his wife and son. Ananya taught Johnny about the magical world herself, during the afternoons when Gregory wasn't home. When he turned 10, the abuse took a turn for the worse, and Anaya finally moved away, taking shelter at her sister's house. Although Aunt Tildy did her best, the house was cramped and there was hardly enough food to go around. Getting his hogwarts letter was a relief.
Personality:Johnathan is a serious boy who's very dedicated to learning all he can while at Hogwarts. He throws himself into work, and doesn't think much about making friends, but his mother encourages him to talk to others, so he tries his best. He doesn't share much about himself until he feels he knows a person, but once he finally puts his trust in someone he becomes their champion and protector.
