Physical Description:

Dark hair, long enough to nearly cover his ears, and a little scruffy. Deep brown eyes. He’s slim, and though still young, he’ll grow quickly to eventually be over 6ft. He’s still trying to figure out his style, but typically casual, simple muggle clothing - t-shirts and jeans - all he knows for sure is that he doesn’t like robes and is already looking forward to graduating out of them.

Mental Description:

★ Likes: Eating, teasing friends, Quidditch, annoying people who aren’t friends, using his wand, honesty.
★ Dislikes: Being alone, animals, too much homework, having to sit still for long, liars, people who are mean to others, reading.
★ Flaws: Stubborn, quick to temper when the right buttons are pushed, seems to irritate animals easily (but blames them for their reactions), struggles to focus if it’s not practical or varied, talks a lot, has strong feelings about dishonesty, guarded on a deeper level so he can’t figure out his own emotions, and can’t relate to others’.
★ Skills & Hobbies: Spending time with his family during the holidays, watching and playing Quidditch, generally just joking around with friends, Exploding Snap, he’s particularly good at chess too but games take a long time to complete because he gets bored part way through and will have to return later. For this reason, this skill of his is overlooked. He’d love to eventually join the house Quidditch team.
★ Other: To those who don’t know him closely - and that would be pretty much everyone - Kasmy doesn’t give much of his inner self away. But he’s very easy to like anyway, and effortlessly gathers people around him. He’s nearly always joking and laughing unless his temper gets riled and then he’s quick to defend others or argue. He likes jumping into debates, and will sometimes start them off just to see how they go. He is proud, but in the sense that he sticks to his morals, he’s perfectly capable of accepting when he’s wrong (even if he’ll sometimes test friendships by taking the opposing side on purpose), and he doesn’t mind looking like an idiot if it’s his own doing – he’s very accepting of who he is, flaws, bad traits, and all.

Biography:

Kasmy’s childhood was and is a happy one. His parents are both magical, though he has a muggle grandmother on his mother’s side. They live in a modestly sized house in southern England, and though they are both wizards, and their house is full of magic, they are aware of their muggle neighbours and hold no prejudices; Kasmy has not grown up believing he or his family are better than anyone. His father is tall and quiet, the calm voice of reason in the household, and the one Kasmy relates to the most despite their stark differences in personality. His mother is a typical mother in that she must always feed and look after her children – which works well for Kas! She is fussy and has a firm voice when she needs it – and she often does with Kas – but it’s clear that her family is her priority. He has a younger sister that he dotes on, and before he got his letter for Hogwarts, Kas was homeschooled by his father. And despite not having a public school to go to, Kasmy still managed to make friends with the kids on his street from other magical families, and would integrate well at any social occasion.

First Instance of Magic:

Kasmy's first sign of magic was when he was six. At some point during his first class of the day at home, the door to the room seemed to unexpectedly swell or stick to the doorframe, causing it to remain shut. It's a story his parents enjoy retelling, especially that the door ended up having to be Vanished for it to be used. He still smiles when he remembers him and his father fruitlessly pulling at the stuck door until his dad's realisation that Kasmy had been the unintended source of magic gone awry. His father had then dropped his physical efforts to express pride, and Kas fondly remembers his surprise at the big hug he'd been scooped up into.
