Physical Description:
Jet's hair is a light caramel coloured and is fairly medium length for an 11 year old boy, but his hair is how he likes it. He has brown coloured eyes to match his parents, Dean and Nora Woodwork. Jet was born into the Woodwork family, a pureblood family. His family owns a store within Knockturn Alley so he is familiar with the wizarding world already, however not fully knowledgeable.
Mental Description:
Jet is a fairly mischievous child however he does listen to his parents when he has gone "too far" with his antics. His parents are very chill when it comes to disciplining Jet, but when he does things like break merchandise and drive business away from the store, he would get told off in a very stern way that would bring him down from his jolly mood and apologise to his parents while sulking for the next few hours.
Biography:
Jet's life before Hogwarts was a normal life when it comes to being born into a wizarding family until his parents bought a store in Knockturn Alley. However the store is in the very back of Knockturn Alley, so with the lack of customers his parents have started to lose money and that meant they had to sell their family home and live in the store but that does not stop them from attempting to give Jet the best life he can have.
His friends are mostly imaginary, but he had become close and friendly with a few of the customers that arrive at his parents store. He would often make jokes and play with the pets of the customers to pass the time while at the store with his parents. He often wishes he could do magic but it was not his time yet.
He has also spoken with his parents about when he goes to Hogwarts, he will be going to live with his Aunt Erica in Cardiff Central. Jet and his parents came to this mutual agreement so he can focus on his homework and enjoy his summer without the stress of living in a confined space such as the small store in Knockturn Alley.
First Instance of Magic:
Jet's first instance of magic was a surprise to both him and his parents. As he was closing in on his 11th birthday and not having done a single piece of magic. Dean and Nora were afraid he would never be able to go into Hogwarts as this was their first child.
The actual instance of magic was fairly anti-climactic but was a pleasant surprise for all who were there to witness it. He was running around the store while his parents were ringing up a customer - he bumped into the customer while not looking where he was going and made them drop their artefact. Trying to save the artefact, Jet dashed and slid underneath the artefact however the floor was more slippery today as his mother cleaned the floor prior to the customer's arrival.
Because of this, he slid past the artefact and began to pray in order to not get too much into trouble with his parents. However to his surprise, when he opened his eyes and the artefact was floating mere inches from the floor. Jet's father was so dumbstruck he made his way to Jet and picked him up, "We have a new wizard in the family!" he said while also picking up the artefact and handing it back to the customer who is smiling and clapping.
