Very quiet, sometimes even nervous in social situations, but can overcome it. He hates being center of attention. Would rather fade into the background, observing the conversation. Very studious in school. Doesn't tell many about what he is thinking.


Benjamin James Hicks is the youngest of three siblings. His Mother and Father both work at the Ministry of Magic, Father, Elliot P. Hicks, Works in the Werewolf Capture Unitand Mother, Gwen Tilly, in the Invisibility Task Force. Benjamin has always been a quiet child, to the concern of his parents. Instead of being the center of a conversation, Benjamin always preferred listening deeply to the multiple conversations around him. He picks up on very slight social cues people exhibit, learn information about a person, not only by what they chose to say, but also what they decided to conceal. This character trait would be the lose of much companionship over his short lifespan so far. Nonetheless Benjamin kept a few friends that he chose wisely.

His parents worry about the boy frequently because he was so unlike his aforementioned siblings. The oldest, Alice, was a boisterous twenty three year-old women. After graduating from Hogwarts a Slytherin, she left home to explore the world for new types of alchemy. She has yet to return, though sends an owl everyday telling about her alchemist adventures. The middle child, Rodrick, is also very outgoing, though maybe not as intelligent as his older sister. Graduating from house Gryffindor, he always charges headfirst into a situation instead of weighing the options. As his nature prescribed, he grew a likely for Magizoology, specifically Dragonology. He packed his things a couple months ago and decided to follow his sisters lead in leaving home, though instead of alchemy, he decided to pursue the worlds dragons. He sends scorched letters back home, though much less frequently then his sister.


With such wild and ambitious older children, Benjamin's parents worry he won't become anything interesting, due to his unusual personality. He aims to prove them wrong by getting into Hogwarts to proving he is an amazing wizard!
