Physical Description: A tall, bespectacled gentleman with dark hair and grey eyes. He is perpetually unkempt. His substantial height is coupled with a thin body, giving him a spindly look. Despite his size, he does not project confidence, often keeping his head lowered and his shoulders slouched to reduce his profile. His right hand is marked with an almost imperceptibly faint scar around his palm and knuckles from where something latched it's teeth onto him.

Mental Description: Mild-mannered and almost completely oblivious to his surroundings. He has a keen mind when it is put into focus, although that rarely occurs. He is prone to indifference and often forgets to use his bedside manner when taking care of patients, preferring instead to note all the peculiarities and interesting facts about whatever may be ailing them. Social cues elude him, and very little gets across to him unless it is put in plain terms.

Biography: Polonius was born in Hastings to Octavius Frogge and his wife, Priscilla Frogge nee Fish. Both worked as alchemists, mixing potions and poultices for the local wizard population. He attended Hogwarts and achieved NEWT-level education in both potions and charms, as he intended to pursue healing work since he was a boy. He married a muggle woman named Talia Baker and had a son, Otto, with her. Otto is a squib, but is content with pursuing a muggle education with dreams of becoming a doctor like his father.

First Instance of Magic: When Polonius was seven, one of his bullies dumped a bucket of water over his head in a classic game of what was known as "Watering the Frog." He knew that he would be subjected to taunts about his name afterward, but much to young Polonius' surprise, the bully opened his mouth and could not produce any words, as his tongue had been tied in a knot.
