Physical Description: Nico would describe himself as average height, dark-haired, with brown eyes, and pale skin. Others would describe him as skinny, freaky, "emo", vampire-ish, and, his favorite, invisible. He only wears black, dark grey, and even darker grey clothes. At first glance, he looks like part of the shadow he's standing in.

Mental Description: Nico is very quiet, selective, and often keeps to himself, speaking only when necessary. He's not depressed, or "emo," he just doesn't find the company of regular muggles worth his time. He's highly intelligent and has the best grades in the whole school, and his vocabulary is rather eloquent.

Biography: Nico has no siblings, but he does have a pet Burmese Python, named Dart (who was rather upset that Nico left, and ate Nico's mother's pet cat). His mother, Karen Cirillo, is well known in both the muggle world and the wizarding world, for her amazing acting and magical talent. Nico's father, Theodore Cirillo, died when Nico was only eight. He died when the hotel in which he had been staying for a business trip, collapsed. The ceiling crumbled and fell, and he couldn't pull out his wand fast enough to cast a shield charm.

First Instance of Magic: Nico's first sign that he was a wizard happened when he was just five years old. It was Christmas morning and being a little kid, he jumped out of his bed and ran down two flights of stairs. But on the third, Nico tripped and fell. He screamed as he went tumbling down the stairs, but on the ninth step, he stopped falling and floated in midair. It was like the air had turned into jello, and was holding him in place, unable to move. When his parents arrived, they removed him from the "jello air," and checked to see if he was hurt. Surprisingly, Nico had no signs of any injuries. His mother knew what had happened, but his father was still in shock, so she explained to Nico that he was now just like them. He was happy about the news, but he made his parents promise to buy him a wand as soon as possible.
