Physical Description: Oliver, considering his age, is a very youthful-looking boy. His hair is a short, curly mess of red-brown, and he has square-framed glasses that are black. At the current moment, he stands at a height of 5’2”, making him one of the tallest first-year students, especially at his age, being only 11.
Mental Description: Oliver is somewhat of an enigma when you first meet him. If he’s not familiar with you, he’s incredibly shy, awkward, and somewhat nervous to a degree. Once you get to know him, though, he comes out of his shell more and proves to be a really good kid. He’s incredibly friendly and loyal, and is willing to stick up for his friends no matter what. Oliver is also very nerdy and smart, and enjoys learning about various things, and also has various knowledge on all sorts of things, making him the perfect student when it comes to academics.
Biography: Oliver was born to a pure-blood father and a muggle mother, so, before Hogwarts, he became educated on magic, learned about the differences between muggles and pure-bloods, and so on. He was a magical child, and from a young age, seemed to be interested in magic and loved broomsticks and wands. His home life was quite comfortable, and his parents loved him dearly. Before receiving his Hogwarts letter, Oliver went to a Muggle school, where he was often made fun of by other students, particularly for his nerdiness, but also because, while at the Muggle school, he experienced his first instance of magic. This caused the other students to see the boy as a freak. However, despite this, he performed incredibly well academically, earning a small reputation amongst teachers for that reason. Eventually, he received his Hogwarts letter, which he was excited about, considering he had heard of Hogwarts due to his father.
First Instance of Magic: Oliver experienced his first instance of underage intentional wandless magic during school when he was 8 years old. During this instance, he saw somebody picking on a friend of his outside of the school. In a moment of rage, he unintentionally caused the perpetrator to levitate for a few moments before falling down. A group of kids had witnessed this, causing them to see Oliver as a freak.
