appearance. abby has long, dark blonde hair that is constantly in her eyes when it's not tied up in either a ponytail or a plait. she has eyes that change from olive green to sky blue depending on the viewing light. her skin is often a mixed pale/tanned colour, hard to describe. abby is just a little bit over the usual height for an average female child, standing at 162cm. personality. abby is a very easy person to become friends with. she's warm and friendly, instantly brightening any room she enters. abby has a genuine love for the world and the people who live in it, always up for litter picking or donating to people/charities in need. she's a great talker and an even better listener. people often go to her for comfort or advice, both things she is happy to give.
although she has a kind and reassuring reputation surrounding her, abby can be fierce when she wants to be. she's a huge stickler to the rules and won't hesitate to put you in your place if you do something wrong. that being said, abby's always one for giving second chances. she believes that there's some good in everyone and they deserve a chance to be forgiven.

history. abby jane goodcharm was born on october 13th, 2010 in aberdeen, scotland, but raised in canada for the first few years of her life. as a young child, abby could almost always be found in the library with her mother or outside with her father. she spent the majority of her childhood either reading, learning and discovering new knowledge, or re-watching her favourite tv shows. when she was three years old, her younger brother jacob was born. the two siblings did everything together - share, play board games, watch tv. jacob was the troublesome one, so abby was basically always the one getting him out of trouble.
a few weeks before abby's ninth birthday, her parents decided to get her a pet - a puppy. abby was extremely overjoyed, immediately christening the small dog 'jake'.

first instance of magic. abby first discovered she had magical abilities when she was seven years old. she was playing with her brother jacob when suddenly she began floating in the air. her parents took her to their local doctor and she started seeing the strangest things in london she had never seen before, like the leaky cauldron and a sign for st. mungo's. abby and her family then received a visit from a so-called 'professor' from hogwarts and found out abby had magic. she was sorted into hufflepuff house on september 1st, 2022
