Physical Description: Ellie is small for her age, about 4'7 in height and thin. She has red, curly hair that is almost always in a mess. She has sharp blue eyes.

Mental Description: She is nerdy. Her head is always buried in books. She is fascinated with gathering as much knowledge as possible.
She is very soft-spoken and to an outsiders perspective seems shy. The reality is that she can be talkative with the right topic of conversation.

Biography: Ellie is a twin. Ellie’s brother, Marcus, showed from a young age less interest in magic. He was more interested in gaming, and even though he was just 11, knew that he wanted to go into game design when he was older, since the possibilities of what could be created are limitless, without rules.

Ellie’s dad, George, was muggle-born; a librarian. Hence, her fascination with books. At home, they always had an extensive amount of books that were always growing. Her mom, Adrienne, was a pure-blood that worked for the ministry. The two of them met in a local coffee shop. George was having a coffee deep in a new novel. Adrienne could not help but be hooked, as she noticed him while waiting for her order. Adrienne was always fascinated by muggles, always wondering what life would’ve been like had she not known about magic.

Adrienne’s parents were not entirely thrilled about her choice in partner, but knew their strong-willed daughter would do what she wanted with or without their approval. Before the twins were born, the two had decided they would always be 100% honest with their children about their backgrounds.

Growing up Ellie stood close to her brother. They were inseparable, even though the didn't share the same interests. Ellie has been excited to start school, but is anxious about the sorting ceremony and being separated from her brother, since they are so different.

First Instance of Magic: Ellie's parents always wanted them to know what to expect when it came to magic. They explained the rules about not using magic. They even tried creating a nurturing, calm environment to try avoiding accidental magic. But those efforts proved to be fruitless. Ellie's first instance of magic was when she was 9 years old. Her brother, Marcus, was getting frustrated with a game, while she was close by reading a book. His frustrations caused the electricity to short and he lost the progress in his game. In rage he tossed his controller, not realizing his sister was in the line of it. Without second thought, Ellie blocked the controller tossing it to the other side of the room.
