Eira was born to Arthur Bluewood and Alicia Bluewood, nee Alcot, at the cusp of 2010. The Bluewoods, albeit a family of purebloods, never sympathized with the Dark lords cause and preferred to associate more with other light families or half bloods. They were also rich in their own right, though not quite as old as other pureblood families, and as so to gain some recognition for their family, they made use of their money and their skill in potion making to provide cheaper healing potions during the second war.

Era's mother, Alicia, had a somewhat difficult pregnancy, being hit by a stray curse during the Hogwarts battle. This, paired with Eira being the only Bluewood heir, meant that she was given anything she desired from a very young age. For the first 7 years of life, Eira grew to be an pampered, entitled child. Everywhere she went, she was adored for her baby face with deep blue eyes, a constant pout and long dark hair that fell to her waist. That adoration though was usually short-lived and was soon replaced by horror at her brash behavior.

Eira had her first bout of accidental magic at the age of five. One fine morning as Pimsy, the Bluewood family's house elf, fed breakfast to her young mistress at the dinner table, Eira decided she had suffered enough! How could her mother forbid her to read 'Grumble the Grubby Goat', till she finished her food? The perceived injustice of being denied her favorite book, put her in a terrible mood. And before anyone could react, the plate in front of Eira crashed into the nearest wall. Her mother, of course, was ecstatic to see her little display of magic, if a little annoyed at the mess she had created.

As she grew older Eira began to realize that her entitled behavior caused her to come off as a nuisance to people around her. But she never tried to change, till she lost a close friend, Sianna Willow, at 7 after a terrible argument broke out between them. Eira felt guilt over her words once she'd calmed down after the quarrel was done but it was too late to mend the relationship. That day proved to be a turning point for Eira as she slowly but surely tried to overcome her pride though she still has a few moments of selfishness and pride.
