Skylar was brought up by her mother in a small flat in North East London. Her father, a muggle, died when she was very young. She does not remember much of him nor does her mother tell her much of him. The Powell family has been an all Ravenclaw family, until Skylar that is. She has been a misfit from day one, being a half-blood in a pure-blood family. Skylar has never fit in amongst her relatives. They often make jokes about her calling her “an imposter Powell”, which has lead her to develop thick skin. Skylar is mischievous, cunning, tomboyish, and she can be a tad bit rude. Her mother is really the only person in her family who she enjoys spending time with and certainly is the only one that seems to care about her. Skylar wanted to prove her family wrong by being sorted into the Ravenclaw house, but was disappointed to be sorted into Slytherin instead. She fears now even her mother may not care for her anymore. Even with all that, Skylar is still very happy to be at Hogwarts and hopes she can make the best of her situation. She dreams of adventure and hopes that she will one day make her family proud. Skylar  will do anything to show her worth to her family, so perhaps she does belong in the House of Slytherin.
