Physical Description: Mireia is a young girl with skin, at first seeming pale, that has a light olive undertone, giving her a sometimes sickly look. Her eyes are a dusty green, similar to damp moss, covered by thick, dark lashes. Her hair is a thick raven black, with bangs and two chunks of hair that reach her shoulders, in which she usually keeps braided. The rest of her hair is chin length, a strange, uneven cut of choice, but one Mireia takes unusual pride in. She can often be seen cutting her own hair when it's length does not suit her, keeping the strands for some concoction or craft later on. This, however, does result in a rather choppy hairstyle at any one time.

Mireia does wear makeup at most times, but not often in the classical way. Her most common makeup style is not on her face, but rather her fingers, the tips of which she dyes black with a strong hair dye that stains the skin up to her second knuckle. This is a common style seen in muggle witch movies that she has taken a liking to. Besides this she sometimes wears strong black, or even red, eye shadow that she encircles her eye with, sporting a thicker underline rather than above eye, usually resulting in a black eye kind of look. Rarely she will choose a daring lip color such as black, blood red, or even dark purple, but this is usually for a special occasion or mood.

Mireia sticks strictly with the school dress code, having a strong like for the flowing black robes. She does mostly wear House-related colors during school hours, but can often be seen in her own underclothing choices that generally include flowing, lacey, black dresses or black cargo pants with straps, or even net tights on her legs, hands or torso. Her shoes are nearly constantly black combat boots that does does a poor job at keeping shined.

Mental Description: Despite her generally dark appearance, Mireia has a very bubbly personality. While she is not one to initiate conversation with strangers, she will engage in a conversation of interest with great enthusiasm. As long as another is the one to begin the conversation, Mireia is an easy friend to make. She is kind, but sometimes aloof and forgetful. She is a hard worker but struggles to focus and has many interests.

Biography: While both Wizards, Mireia's parents both work in the muggle world. Her father is a librarian, working at a muggle library, but one that also contains magical texts reserved for magical readers. Her mother owns a flower shop, but also grows and sells herbs used in muggle potions - but sometimes magical ones as well, when they find their way in to her possession. She is an elder sister to an infant brother, whim she loves dearly. The family is very close and lives in a small cottage home in the outskirts of Lichfield, with some land to their name.

First Instance of Magic: Her mother suspects Mireia had earlier instances of magic, but the most obvious example was rather late in her life - at least for most young witches and wizards. The day her brother was born - when Mireia had only recently turned 10. So excited by the new family addition, when she was first introduced to her new brother, she accidentally changed the color of the little tuft of hair the boy had just by her touch as she went to hold him for the first time. His hair changed from it's natural black, to a red, then ran through the entire rainbow at speed until it rested on a lovely purple. Her parents had to change it back. But Mireia was very excited at this new development and had unsuccessfully tried to change his hair color again since.

The incidence was just in time too, as her Hogwarts letter arrived less than a year later. Despite her mother assuring her that she was certain she had preformed magic previously, Mireia was not convinced until her brothers birth.
