APPEARANCE lisolette has a countenance which rewards her often with compliments. her sandy colored hair is often tied out of her face, usually with some sort of ribbon or decorative ornament; it naturally has a wavy pattern. her eyes are a shade of soft blue, a trait which she inherited from her mother. the most prominent aspect of her appearance is the smile she so often wears; lisolette is hardly seen with a sour look upon her face.
PERSONALITY lisolette is a respectful and kind individual, as she always has been. in her early days, the importance of treating others well was emphasized in her mind, and that teaching never truly left her. in her youth, she took great pride in those she cared for, and she wasn't afraid to let the entire world know it. to this day, lisolette protects those she loves; though, it is primarily out of fear of losing them. not only this, but she has grown afraid to allow new people into her life, because of what may happen if they leave. it is a rare sight for her to be seen upset, for whenever she isn’t perfectly happily, she feels as though she must disguise her gloomy emotions underneath a layer of joy. overall, she is a passionate character; when she cares for something, she cares for it deeply - to a fault, at times. lisolette's compassion provides her with a special sort of zeal for others and a unique courage to defend those in need, regardless of what the effect may be upon herself.
HISTORY lisolette was born as the second child to the pureblooded couple of marc and violette toussaint in the town of normandy, france in the year 2009. her parents had moved together to france when they had entered into their engagement, shortly after both graduating from hogwarts. lisolette was the second child born to the couple; they had brought a son, named james, into the world four years prior to her birth. the family resided in the country until 2015, when tragedy struck. james, the eldest child, fell ill and met his untimely death. in their mourning, the toussaint family migrated to oxford, england, attempting to escape the reminder of their agony that was in the town of normandy. they established their own household in oxford, compensating for the loss of one child by pampering the one who was left. lisolette had never ceased to adore her parents, and she was ever so grateful for the luxuries which they afforded for her. however, despite this treatment, lisolette, from then on, felt that marc and violette had grown more distant and lived in more fear than she ever would have expected from the two of them. in oxford, their household was a silent one. lisolette missed the vibrancy with which her family had lived in france, though after several years in england, it grew obvious that what had been done could not be undone.
MAGIC her first instance of magic was at the age of seven; she accidentally caused a flowering plant in her mother's garden to bloom beneath her own fingertips. having lost her brother the previous year, such magic made sense; to make his favorite blossoms burst with color in their offseason. since then, lisolette has always been rather uncertain in terms of her magical abilities and skills. though learning and demonstrating was not difficult for her, there was always a doubt within her mind - perhaps her emotions could get the better of her and affect her magic in an unexpected manner. for such reason, she approached the concept of magic with great hesitation.
