Celena, in terms of eleven year olds, has an incredibly mature appearance, and often is mistaken for a 4th or 5th year student. Standing at 5 feet 4 inches tall, she takes pride in being taller than most of her friends, and her older sister. Her dark chocolate colored hair is incredibly long, running down to the small of her back, and is stick straight and as smooth as silk. The only incredibly unique part of her appearance, other than her height, is that she has two different colored eyes; her right eye being gold, and her left eye being a silver-gray color.
Personality
Her entire life, Celena has always been praised for her creativity, and she spends a good deal of her time writing novels, songs, poems, and drawing. A side effect of her creativity, however, is that she is a constant daydreamer, and often gets stuck in her own thoughts. Along with having immense creativity, she's also incredibly intelligent, and has a good balance of academic skills and deductive skills. However, schoolwork has always been a major stressor for her, so her grades fluctuate based on her confidence in her own work. Celena is most definitely an extrovert, and loves to make friends wherever she goes, and often relies on her sarcastic comedic ability to entertain new audiences. Because she has so many close friends, she regularly finds herself in a position of leadership and tends to take the troubles and burdens of her friends onto her own shoulders. Her only true flaws consist of her high levels of self doubt, and she has a hard time dealing with her emotions due to her lack of emotional outlets. Overall, Celena is a loving, unique individual who finds strength and confidence in standing up for her friends, and facing difficult challenges.
History
Being raised by her aunt and older sister, Celena has never really known the true story about her lineage. All she knows is that her and her sister, Laurelin, who is almost 10 years older than her, both primarily take after their father, who their aunt Diallah refuses to speak of. Their mother, who died of an illness a year after Celena was born, is very rarely mentioned, due to the fact that her aunt is in eternal mourning. The only thing that Celena and Laurelin really know about their family is that their father's side, the Ebonywoods, and their mother's side, the Silvercrests, are polar opposites. The Ebonywoods are often mentioned as the darker side of the family, and are rumored to have performed dark magic. The Silvercrests are described as perfect and saintly, and when they are mentioned by other wizarding families, are put in the highest regards.
Not knowing much about her own family history, Celena spent a good portion of her childhood writing stories about what she imagines them to be like. Only knowing her family names, and the way they are described by her aunt and other wizards, she hopes that maybe she'll learn something about them when she goes to Hogwarts.
