On the warm, humid day of August 25th, 2010 Anemone Scoria Waddleath was born to the lucky muggles Gilbert Waddleath and Reveca Sollomovici. Although she was born in Romania, Timisoara to be exact, she moved to Ramsey, England with her parents when she was a little over a year old. Her parents, who never married, separated when she was three and moved on to have their own families so she currently alternates between living with both. She grew entirely unaware of the wizarding world given her muggle heritage but she still experienced peculiar instances of magic, starting when she was only three years old. One winter Anemone was reciting her colors to her aunt and the flames of the fire by them began to flicker iridescently. They both stared with astonishment but it quickly went back to normal once she stopped speaking. She had witnessed similar strange occurrences, such as seeing a flying bus at night in downtown London, but she gave them no real significance until she received her letter from Hogwarts and it all dawned to her. Before then Anemone lived as a child unaware of her magic potential, going to school aspiring to be many things like a painter or scientist but definitely not a wizard.
Anemone, also known as 'Sprigs' because of her thin frame, is a winsome blonde with an unassuming presence at first glance. Her wavy, butter-colored hair, softer than down, reaches down to the middle of her back, glistening with hints of white in scattered areas. Her eyes are a stormy, wistful brown, sharp orbs that hint playfulness but speak deeper tones. Gold-rimmed bifocals rest on her freckled nose, thin, circular ones that complement her cordate face. Despite her long-limbed, gangly figure and typical meekness, Anemone is tougher than she looks, within and without...she just avoids having to show it often because of her sympathetic heart. She gets her strong sense of compassion, and sometimes naivety, from her father, who's a fine arts professor at a university, and her tenacity from her mother, a multi-lingual communications director. Anemone gets her tastes for spicy foods like jalapeños from the former and tropical ones like grapefruit from the latter. Her queer, and sometimes dark, sense of humor comes from herself, though.
Yet rest assured that this quick-witted Waddleath is not one to be stepped on. She's funny in how she's uncomfortable with appraisal but downright despises acts against her pride. She can be extremely vindictive when things go far beyond the warm light of her empathetic nature, using her uncanny insight in surprisingly creative ways. Anemone's often calculating others curiously in the back of her mind but it takes a lot to truly get her bothered, being laid-back most of the time. She has faint scars riddled along her knees and elbows from rough-playing with other children and running around the city and surrounding woods. She can mimic most animal sounds perfectly and loves drawing and painting them. Anemone tends to add her unique but strange touches that leave others wondering what's going on in her head. She usually tells them, if they dare ask, "Spectacular things."
