Alexander Rhineheart was born on June the 6th, 2006 to Erik Rhineheart and Susan Rhineheart nee Macmillan. Although born in Scotland Alexander lived the first six years of his life in the home of his father in Salzburg, Austria among muggles. It was his fathers wish for him to live in the muggle world away from the world of magic he never truly understood. And so he lived unaware of his magical lineage, though his mother was a Macmillan, a sacred twenty-eight family.

Alexander and his mother moved back to Scotland though after his father's death during a hunting accident in the Alps. His trips were always lengthy and dangerous, and Erik refused any charms of protection from his wife telling her any magic would be cheating the hunt.

Once back in Edinburgh Alexander was reunited with his magical family, and his mother revealed her and his true natures. The trauma of losing his father was eased by his new found life, and he embraced magic full heartedly. Alexander was quick to learning the ways of the magical community and loved his Scottish side of the family. Becoming a fast lover of Quidditch his first display of magical aptitude came on a broom .When he jumped off the roof with a mundane broom at the terror of his mother and family members at his seventh birthday party, the broom instead accelerated and he did several laps around the chimney until his aunts and uncles could bring him down safely. His new found love for flying was further satiated by a strong indoctrination of becoming a Magpie fan and of course supporting the Scottish national team, though he still pulls for Austria.

Sense then Alexander has been known as a brash young man eager to push his own limits. Quick to make friends he quickly forms groups and likes having a family atmosphere around him. In class Alexander can be sometimes quiet, not wanting to draw to much attention on himself that he'll be asked to do a demonstration. Alexander has no problem sticking up for what he believes in when challenged. He also shows great respect to those who do not wish to be helped, in this way he pays tribute to his fathers memory.
