Biography:
Finn was born to Isla and Jack Campbell in 2011. He grew up an only child in Barrhead, Scotland. His father worked as a programmer while his mother stayed home to cater to him. The family was nothing out of the ordinary, as they had everything they needed, and didn't wish for much more. Although they did try to spoil Finn, he never wished for much. Even so, he was thankful for the things he had been given.
Growing up, he was more of a loner, yet held onto anyone close. He wasn't one for social interaction, but he did enjoy being able to ramble about his interests with others.
School was always a top priority for Finn. He worked hard in school, while attempting to stay in the back rather than show off. He did his best to stay on the honor roll, only receiving a few C's every now and then. As long as he got mainly A's and B's, he was satisfied. He paid attention in class, although sometimes he did get distracted by minor things. He was easily distracted; his interests could cost him a homework grade or two. Aside from that, he worked hard to keep his grades up.
He had many interests over the years. His specific interests fluctuated often, and every other month was something new. He had always been fond of art and video games. No interest stuck with him for more than a few months, aside from dragonflies. He was fascinated by them, constantly eager to research more about them. He always documented his research and thoughts, though he could easily think of a dragonfly fact at random.

First Instance of Magic:
When Finn was four, he experienced his first instance of magic. His mother had set up a playdate for him, hoping that it would keep him entertained for a bit. Being the stubborn, anti-social kid he was, he preferred not to share his belongings with others. When his playmate reached for his crayons, he became upset and frustrated. This resulted in the crayon box levitating for a couple of seconds in the air. It fell to the ground once he had been interrupted by his mother telling him to share. His mother, being sleep deprived, assumed she had hallucinated the entire event.

Receiving The Letter:
Finn was taken aback when he learned the news. A professor had visited, giving him his acceptance letter, along with an explanation of the situation. His parents were proud of him, yet surprised about the whole situation. Finn, on the other hand, was nervous - yet excited - for how his life was going to change. The change excited him; it brought something new to everyday life. Yet, it did frustrate him due to the fact he wasn't very fond of huge changes. It was a conflicting moment for him, yet he was more happy overall. He wasn't necessarily ready for such a change, but he was thrilled regardless.
