Physical Description: While Ruby's older brothers inherited their father's height and thinness, the petite girl with chubby cheeks and wide bones was their complete opposite. A couple of extra pounds, a snub nose, golden curls and all kinds of dresses and robes from her mother's childhood provided the sorceress with the appearance of a sweet and good-natured child. Active facial expressions and gestures are rarely synchronized with Ruby's internal state, but they are used to enhance the conveyed meaning - for the sake of a joke, to strengthen an argument during a conflict or as a sign of protest. However, this does not at all guarantee the sincerity of such reactions, quite the contrary.
Parents spent a lot of time cultivating manners for their only daughter, so such concepts as table etiquette, straight posture and politeness are not alien to her. At the same time, she cannot tolerate direct lies, because free people must tell the truth. Ru loves long conversations, but she can't stand chatterboxes - those who can't shut up can't speak either. It's a fact that the sensible survive more often than the smart, but selfish wisdom seemed vile to Ruby in every way. Biography: Ruby is the third child of a pureblood Slytherin witch and a muggle-born Ravenclaw. Her older brother Garrett has already graduated from the school of magic and started a career in the Ministry. The middle brother was a squib, but that wasn't the only thing that made him unique. No one in the family could challenge his genius, especially in mathematics, history and the natural sciences. Although Leonard did not have magical abilities, for Ruby he remained the main role model.
Prior to adventuring at Hogwarts, Ru attended Thomas Jones Primary School, a few blocks from her home in Holland Park between Kensington and Notting Hill, London. Parents prepared their girl for life without magic, because the chance that she would repeat the fate of Leo was very real. Even though most of the Leveret family consisted of wizards, magic in their house was surprisingly rare.

First Instance of Magic: Late in the evening, the elder brother and father were having a heated argument about the news from the Daily Prophet. Ruby also wanted to join, but she was clearly told that she was still small and it was time to go to bed. She was offended and torn by curiosity, so she eavesdropped on the elders from another room. At one point, the voices died down, the door opened and Ruby was found by her father. She was ready for a new serious conversation, but dad just hugged and congratulated her on the fact that she has magic. Clarity could only be brought by Garret, who held out as evidence of the first case of uncontrolled wandless magic the Prophet from which the entire text disappeared. If I can't have it, no one can!
