Physical Description:

Height and Body Type: Freya is not very tall only standing 4 foot 6 inches. Her height is something she is slightly insecure about as she comes from a tall family and was regularly teased about it growing up. She is slim build with toned body. She as small scar on the lower right side of her abdomen where she received an accidental fire curse by her older sister.

Eye Colour and Shape: Her eyes are almond shape and quite a unique colour. At first glance they look more of a slate grey but do have a moss green colour around the pupil. The green becomes more evident when she is upset or angry.

Nose and Mouth: Freya is probably most insecure about her nose, she feels it is too narrow and pointy giving her a slightly pixie look, or so she thinks. Her nose is straight and in proportion with her face. She has a small silver stud in her left nostril which she got her older sister to peirce for her a year ago. Their mum was not impressed. One of Freya's favourite features are her lips. They are light pink, her bottom lip being slightly fuller than her top lip. She has a very prominent cupids bow which she loves.

Markings: Freya has a light dusting of freckles across her nose and cheeks which slightly spread up to her forehead. She aslo has freckles along her arms. Freya also has a birthmark on her ankle that kind of resembles a key.

Mental Description:

Positive Traits: Freya is a confident girl and quite social. Living in Dublin which draws in alot of tourists will kind of force you to be confident and social, otherwise you just drown into the background. Freya finds it relatively easy to make friends but it does take a while for her to be able to trust someone completely. Freya is a very kind hearted person and will always try to help someone if they are upset or look as though they need help. She has a easy going nature with a strong sense of humor. Generally she is quite thick skinned but if her insecurities are targeted, even in humor, she does take that quite personally.

Negative Traits: Sometimes she may say this is a good trait to have but Freya is quite stubborn. She is more than happy to discuss a topic or issue but 9 times out of 10 if she thinks she is right then it is quite hard to change her mind. She is also quite hot headed, especially if someone has hurt someone or something she cares about and her anger has gotten her into trouble a couple of times. This is because she has accidentally used magic outside of Hogwarts.

Biography:

Freya was born and raised in Dublin Ireland. She has an older sister called Sophie who she is extremely close to. It was like an instant bond when Freya first set her newborn eyes on her sister and since then they have been pretty much inseperable. Her mother, Nora, and her father, Niall, seperated not long after she was born. Luckily Freya was too young to have to adjust to the change but when she was old enough her mother and sister did explain to her what happened and why her mum and dad seperated. At the age of 5 Freya was aware of magic, she loved seeing her mother perform spells to entertain her or do house hold chores when she couldnt be bothered to do it the muggle way. It was at this age when she found out her mother was pregnant and also that her mother was actually dating someone else. Her sister Sophie took it hard and really struggled to adapt to the news and the changes that were about to happen, as would any 13 year old.

Freya was actually quite happy to be getting a baby brother or sister and Sophie was to. She just didn't want some man coming in and trying to replace her dad. Sophie started acting out which of course Freya caused Freya to copy Sophie. Eventually Sophie moved in with her dad, leaving Freya behind. Atleast that was how she felt at the time. If only she was old enough to understand what was going on.

Months passed and eventually Nora gave birth to a little boy called Ronan. By this time, Freya hardly saw or spoke to her sister. It really devastated her and this was when she first started having problems with controling her anger. Her sister had left her, her mother was now all about Ronan and man named Callum had moved acting like a dad. Freya felt very alone and she very rarely talked now. She would often wander off to a near by little forest with a stream where she would watch the animals going about the business. At this time it was the only thing that helped her relax.

By the time her brother was 3 years old her relationship with her mother had improved. Ronan was no longer a baby and more independent which meant Nora could now rebuild her relationship with Freya. They often made time for each other, would have mother and daughter days. Freya was gradually becoming her old cheerful self again and talking alot more, but there was a part of her missing and that was Sophie. She really missed her sister and it showed from time to time. Whenever Freya had a quiet moment you could see the sadness in her eyes, even when she tried to hide it.

At the age of nine Freya had started getting back in contact with her older sister sophie. The two had missed each other terribly and managed to rebuild their relationship along with her bonding more with her father. Freya started spending weekends at her dads which she absolutely loved. Quite often Sophie would take Freya to her favourite forest where Sophie would demonstrate spells for Freya. That was probably the most fun she had at her weekend stays with her dad. One weekend though was quite a traumatic one which had a lasting effect on Freya.

Freya was visiting her father and sister that she usually does every weekend, the two sisters were hanging out in the forest laughing and enjoying themselves. Sophie thought it would be fun to demonstrate some curses. There was no muggles around, they were completely hidden and Sophie didnt think anyone would get hurt. But she was very wrong. Sophie was about to demonstrate a fire curse to Freya, she had just finished explaining how dangerous curses are and why she should never perform them unless she had absolutely no other option. As Freya sat waiting on a nearby fallen tree, Sophie focused on a tree stump and was about to aim the curse at it when suddenly a deer leaped out of some nearby bushes distracting Sophie.

Sophie jumped which caused her to end up firing the curse towards her sister. Freya tried to dive out of the way but caught part of the curse on her right side. Sophie was terrified, she aparated back to their dads home where he immediately took Freya to St Mungos. Fortunately as Freya did not take the full force of the curse she was only left with a small burn on her right side of her lower abdomen. She had to spend a few days in the hospital but was allowed home and made a full recovery. Sophie still feels guilty about the whole thing, but Freya forgave her immediately.

At the age of 11 she received her Hogwarts letter! Freya was estatic. She had heard all of the stories her mother, father and sister had been up to in Hogwarts and she was eager to start her own journey. Freya pretty much begged her mum on the day of receiving her letter for her to take her to Diagon Alley to get her wand and school supplies. The first shop she went to was Ollivanders and after nearly accidentally destorying the shop she found her true wand. After an exhausting day shopping in diagon alley, Freya counted down the days until she would finally take her first steps in Hogwarts.

That September is when she felt like her life had truly began.....

First Instance of Magic: The first time Freya accidentally used magic was when her sister left to live with their father. When this happened Freya was very hurt, upset and angry. She felt abandoned by her best friend, kind of like Sophie had broken her trust. As this happened to her at such a young age, Freya couldn't understand why her sister would do this to her. Struggling to contain her emotions, Freya accidentally set her whole room on fire.

Her mother was able to save her due to hearing Freya's terrified screams and eventually console her daughter. This was however the start of when Freya began to shut down and close off, trying to avoid her emotions causing anything like that again.
