Adriel Lovage was born the second and youngest child in a long line of humble pure-blood families. Her parents, Rhea and Quintin Lovage, own and run a small apothecary and Muggle pharmacy in a neighbourhood of Cork, Ireland. Both Adriel and her brother Adrien, a Hogwarts' Alumnist, grew up working in the shop, thus gaining an early understanding of potions. The family's shop leaves them with a comfortable revenue, though not nearly as much as some of the more infamous pureblood families of Europe. Her brother currently resides in London, England, and works as a nurse at St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries.
Having grown up around Muggles and in a Muggle city, Adriel is very familiar with the non-magic world. The family's shop served as a Muggle pharmacy. Her two best friends growing up were Muggle children with whom she got along with quite well. Her only complaint is that she will never be able to share the beautiful world of magic with her two most trusted confidants.
Adriel has a boyish, rectangular body with lanky limbs that seem a bit too long. She is 1.5 meters tall, quite tall for someone of 11 years old. She is short, curly hair of strawberry blonde and mischievous blue eyes.
Adriel is a die-hard fan of the Appleby Arrows Quidditch team. She is an above-average student, but certainly not a genius. Adriel is charmingly audacious and determined. She speaks her mind (often at the wrong time) and is not afraid of conflict. Her curiosity often leads her to trouble, but she finds that this makes her adventures all the more entertaining. Adriel is charismatic and friendly to all who are friendly towards her. She cares little about the appearance of herself or others, and she certainly pays no mind to dirt, insects, or even blood. She is mischievous and loves attention. Adriel is the type of person who keeps all emotions and fears locked away. She attempts to always put on a brave face, especially when others cannot. She hopes to one day become an apothecary or dragonologist.
