Neoma Thora Sallow was born on the 26th of April, 2010 in Grindleford, England to muggle parents; Edson and Terra Sallow. Unfortunately, complications during childbirth took the young mother’s life, leaving Edson a widowed father.
For the most part, Neoma lived a quiet and boring life. Grindleford was a small village with a population of just over 900. Growing up, she only had one friend, Michael, who she would spend time with within school. Out of school, Edson would take her with him to the small eclectic book shop he owned until closing time. While there, she would spend hours reading just to pass the time. She longed for excitement and adventure and through books this was possible.
Now, at the age of 11, Neoma stands at 137cm and 35kg. Her hair is light brown and long, and her eyes are blue. She is considered average for her age.
Due to where she lives and the watchful eye of her father, Neoma isn’t able to explore her interests in the way most other children would be able to. Her hobbies include reading and doodling. Once a week she and her father will enjoy a movie together. She particularly enjoys fantasy and horror.
Socially, Neoma is pretty awkward. When it comes to adults she is shy, but around those her own age, she is more outgoing.
Neoma’s first instance of magic happened when she was four years old. There had been a particularly unpleasant customer in her father’s shop. Neoma grew increasingly upset by the woman’s behavior, but it wasn’t until the woman began destroying merchandise did Neoma’s emotions get the better of her. One by one small, painful boils began forming on the woman’s face, covering it while spreading down her neck and soon appearing over her arms and hands. The woman stopped what she was doing, dropping the remnants of a torn book as she let out an agonizing cry. Edson and Neoma watched on in horror, unaware that this was all the child’s doing.
