Hope Dove is an 11 year old girl with red-brown hair, bright blue eyes, and a spattering of freckles covering most of her body. She stands at 4 feet 3 inches (130cm) tall and weighs approximately 100 pounds (45 kilos). You can usually spot her wearing flowy dresses in pastel colors or floral patterns, as she is quite drawn to the cottage-core aesthetic.

Animals have always been a passion of Hope's, as she is a caregiving person. Being generous, kind, and caring to the core, she is usually the one her friends go to to lean on for support. Mentally she is strong, bordering on stubborn, and there is little that can phase her. Her only fear is her own death, and the thought of its inevitability can cause her to panic in some situations. Additionally, when Hope wants something, you can be sure she will get it in one way or another.

Before Hogwarts, Hope was adopted at 3 years old by muggles and has very little recollection of her birth family. She spent her childhood on the Irish coast in a small cottage near Dublin, Ireland where her adoptive parents raised a variety of farm animals. She had a fairly uneventful upbringing besides helping out on the farm and focusing on her schooling. That is, until she turned 10...

On Hope's 10th birthday, her parents let her ride one of the farm's horses for the first time. She was riding through one of the many fields when the horse suddenly became scared and took off. Being so lightweight, Hope went flying off of the horse's back and landed right on her head in the mud. Yet she was unharmed. Both she and her parents were understandably confused. How had she even survived the fall?
