Marcee has tan skin and curly black hair, freckles which are almost invisible painted across her nose. She is shorter than average and has an athletic body. She has deep brown eyes that look black from afar, and a small dimple on her left cheek when she smiles.
She has a bright personality and can sometimes be too optimistic. She tends to get nervous around large groups of people and is mostly quiet and reserved even when she is with her friends. She is very trusting and also slightly insecure about how other people will view her.
Marcee was born on February 12th, 2010 in Islington, England. Her father was a wizard, who worked for the Ministry of Magic. Her mother on the other hand was a muggle nurse, a very devoted and caring person. After her little sister Teagan was born two years later, her parents decided to get a divorce done. Her mother - being more gentle and responsible - took care of both their daughters.
Marcee’s first accidental magic happened when she was eight. She was sitting on a large sycamore tree in her backyard, sketching the view. When she heard her mom call her name, she made her way down. A branch where she had placed her foot broke, but she didn’t plummet to the ground. Instead she found herself dangling in the air as tree branches held onto her waist. Afterwards she learned that she discovered her magic.
When her father heard of this, he deemed it necessary for Marcee to stay with him and learn more about the magic world. Thus she moved in with her dad and was homeschooled. She didn’t have many chances to hang out with children her age, and her closest friend was her grandmother who visited her father’s house once in a week.
When she finally got her letter from Hogwarts, she was beyond thrilled. Though she was nervous that she had to leave her parents (or parent) and meet new people, the thought of the magical school and the adventures she could have there excited her. Marcee was happy to be sorted into Hufflepuff when she got there, and is anticipating a great school year since.
Some of the things she likes; She loves to hear old tales like her grandma used to tell her and is a great listener. She likes to draw - she is constantly sketching in her notebook. Her stay with her father was rather dull, so she picked up a hobby of knitting and all sorts of other crafts, and is talented with them.
