Allison is the only surviving daughter of Charles and Caroline Wonderland, and is the sole heir to the Wonderland family legacy. Her father, Charles Felix Wonderland, is a former student of Hogwarts, where he was sorted into house Gryffindor. After graduating he became a renowned Dragon-Killer, as were his forefathers, who gained his fame after simultaneously defeating two fully grown Hungarian Horntails all on his own, earning the nickname "Black Huntsman." Her mother, Caroline A.J.M. Wonderland, is a former student of Beauxbatons Academy. After graduating she became the author of several books on Magizoology, specializing as a Dragonologist, and is generally well known for her willingness to put herself in grave danger simply to satisfy her thirst for knowledge, rivalling the likes of Newt Scamander, though not nearly as popular. As a result of both her parents' success, Allison had a very pampered childhood.

She tragically lost her twin sister, Guinevere, at the age of nine while playing in the woods near the family cottage. After hearing both Allison and Guinevere's screams, their parents rushed to their rescue, only to find that a Forest Troll had made quick work of Guin. Bruised upon the ground, stained scarlet with blood that was not hers laid Allison, forced to watch helplessly as she failed to protect her sister, her closest friend in the entire world.

To this day Allison relentlessly blames herself for what happened, thinking of what she could have done to avoid such a tragedy. To make matters worse, she could tell that even her parents had a hard time simply looking at her, as her exact resemblance to her sister must have been painful for them. Not only does she have a family legacy to uphold, but now she's a burden which she'll forever have to bear as well.

Regarding her personality, she's quick-witted, clever, intelligent, and isn't afraid to assert herself when necessary. Though, it should be noted that she's awfully timid, which makes her intrepid outbursts seem rather spontaneous. She has a well-nurtured sense of curiosity, and is willing to do anything if it means expanding her knowledge, which she believes one can never have enough of, but she still prefers to do so while avoiding direct confrontation if possible. Lastly, in regards to her demeanor, she comes off as a very soft-spoken character, whose distant gaze reflects her very calculative, logical way of thinking, yet her gentle smile- though, for the most part, is both rare and meant to hide her deep sorrow -is true to the overall kindness of her nature. She'll always lend an ear to those in grief, and though she doesn't believe her words carry much weight, she's more than willing to offer whatever wisdom she may have, given that she's comfortable with the person she's speaking to.
