Physical Description: Calliope can be recognized by her rather small stature, slightly unkempt brown hair and hazel eyes.
Mental Description: Calliope is an analytical, and quiet sort of person. She would rather read books about topics that interest her over interacting with actual people. Despite her introverted nature, she can be easily pulled into a conversation if the topic is intriguing enough. She is also rather inquisitive and loves experimentation.
Biography: Calliope is the oldest Halfblood Child of a Pureblood mother and a Halfblood father. When she was still young, Calliope and her younger brother was sent to Wales to be under the care of her Maternal Aunt who married a Muggle police officer due to her parents' hectic lives as members of the Department of International Magical Co-Operation. The siblings were even registered as their children and took up the Tan surname, leaving only Calliope with faint memories of her true parents. Even so, the pair were raised with love and treated as if they were their own children.
First Instance of Magic: When Calliope was 7, she attempted to reach the cookie jar her Aunt placed at the top shelf of the kitchen. Being rather impulsive but knowledgeable enough, she decided to start stacking books and random tomes on a kitchen stool in an attempt to reach the jar but still found it beyond her reach. In her attempt to tiptoe for the jar, that jar suddenly zipped into her outstretched hands and knocking the girl down. By the time her Aunt found her, Calliope was sitting on the floor munching on a cookie with a pained but proud expression on her face.
