Born in a small village in Ireland, Dalia grew up in a close community where everyone knows everyone. She inherited the bright red hair from her mothers side and the green eyes from her fathers bloodline. Growing up in a small village without any children from her age made her go out in nature a lot and spent her days outside in the sun, climbing trees, swimming in the river and dancing with her cat. Once in a while her cousins came to visit or she went to see them, so she had at least a bit of contact with children of the same age.

Most of the days she was home with her mother, who was a music teacher and had students come over every day for lessons. Her father worked away from home for the local government and so she only saw him in the evening and during the weekends. When there was no school, Dalia usually went to play outside in the woods as mentioned above. During the weekends she often goes on picnics with her parents and with her cousins when they came over for a visit.

Playing by herself most of the time made her very sure of what she does and made it so she is very creative with a big imagination. That might go wild sometimes, very wild even.... This is also how she came into contact with magic for the first time herself. Seeing her family use magic day in and out at home, she had no idea that it was something that not everyone could do. So when a cousin came over, she went out to play with everyone in the woods. Suddenly the cousin, named Freddy, had found an acorn on the ground and thought, as little children do, that it could not harm to throw it at her. Turning around as the acorn flew her way, she saw the acorn and ducked to the ground. Just before the acorn hit her it turned into a marshmallow. After it had fallen to the ground, she picked it up, not really understanding where it came from, since her eyes where closed as she had ducked from the acorn, and ate it. After this incident, they just kept playing and went home very tired in the evening, falling asleep quickly once into bed.
