Archie Morgan is a 11 year old lad from Applecross Scotland, a small peninsula in the North-West of Scotland. He doesn't like apples however. Somehow growing up in a place with apple in the name made him hate the fruit with a passion. He thought of himself more as a pear person.

He was named after his great grandfather Arthur Morgan, who apparently was responsible for saving the village from starvation, with a huge potato harvest in 1884. An achievement they still talk about during every family gathering. Of course everyone in the family knows it is because he used magic, but the people in the village are non the wiser.

Archie's father & mother both practise magic, but his grandparents did not. They were skipped in the line. All and all they live a solitary life. They use their magic knowledge to grow food on the family land. His mother also specializes in a whole range of potions and elixirs, which she makes with herbs that they grow in the garden.

Archie has medium-long hair with a hint of curls. Cinnamon colored. He is average sized for his age, but has an exceptionally low voice for his age. He spends his day on the family farm helping his dad grow crops and taking care of the animals. They have long haired cows with bells around their neck and a lot of sheep. They also have a sheepdog named Hector who makes sure the sheep walk in line.

His first occurrence with magic was when he was out in the field with his dad, watching the potatoes grow when suddenly one of the potatoes got absolutely massive. This happened because the day before Archie got bullied by one of the non-wizard kids who is 2 heads taller than him and he was holding in all his rage and anger.

Archie is obsessed with nature and animals. And he also has a passion for archaeology. This got triggered one day at the farm when they suddenly dug op an ancient Highlander Sword. Later he either wants to become an archaeologist or a biologist that researches rare and exotic animals.
