Physical Description: Ian stands at 5'3 and is decently skinny for his age. Most people would describe him as lanky, which he gets from his father, but the rest of his features resemble his mother. He has soft dirty blonde curls, but sometimes appear to be a beach surfer blonde in different lighting. His glistening blue eyes could make the sea jealous of their color. He has very light freckles on his nose, but they are only really defined on days that he is out in the sun for too long.

Mental Description: Ian's mood changes easily and while he is extremely loving he does have a very mischievous side. He is very dedicated and passionate when it comes to things he cares about, but sometimes his passion can come off as aggression. He can feel a bit misunderstood and lonely at times. He doesn't let just anybody see the deeper side of him because he is scared of losing loved ones. He can also be a bit insecure, which sometimes he projects on to others. He is averagely smart for his age, but due to his insecurities he can lack in school. At times, he has been bullied, but he has also been the bully. His position in a room full of people can vary. Sometimes he is outgoing and other times he is quiet and reserved. It really depends on the day and who he is surrounded by. He is scared of failing so sometimes not trying makes him feel better because nothing feels worse to him than actually trying his best and failing miserably.

Biography: Ian is the youngest of 8 siblings. He has 2 sisters and 5 brothers. He is also the only one who can do magic in his family. He is a bit of an outcast due to this. His family, mostly his brothers and father, are a bit rough on him due to his mother passing when he was born. His eldest sister, Juniper, has always looked out for him. He very much adores her and she is like a mother to him. He doesn't really communicate with his father unless his dad is telling him what to do. His other family members pretty much act like he's not there so a lot of the time he's entertaining himself. In a way being alone has been helpful because it has lead him to being creative. He have 4 close Muggle friends that he grew up with. He doesn't plan to grow apart from them, but you never know what the future holds. Especially, if he is going to a completely differently school and has to keep the most exciting part of him a secret.

First Instance of Magic: Ian's first instance of accidental magic was when his father made a horrendous meatloaf dinner. His dad has never been a good cook. He usually makes one of Ian's older sisters cook for the family. This time his dad wanted to at least try to make his great grandmother's meatloaf recipe and what an awful mistake that was for his dad. Ian's siblings silently suffered while Ian was very reluctant. His dad usually becomes frustrated easily with Ian and this night was no exception. So when Ian continued to refuse to eat his father told Ian to eat his dinner or stay at the table for the rest of the night until he finished every last drop on his plate. Ian immediately felt overwhelmed and trapped at the dinner table. Being confined made Ian feel anxious. While some of his siblings excused themselves after finishing Ian sat there with tears forming in his eyes. He tried to get up, but his father demanded him to sit back down and eat. This tipped Ian's emotions overboard. Silently, his tears moistened his meatloaf below him. His dad deciding to "encourage" Ian one last time and told him to eat his dinner. With anger and might Ian screamed, “NO!” As Ian's screams left his body, his meatloaf left the dinner table and splattered on to the ceiling. Everyone left at the table sat there stunned. Ian being mortified and confused ran off to his room.
