Eliza grew up in London with her mom, dad, little sister, and dog. Her mom, Catherine Hamilton, is a witch. Catherine met Eliza's father, who is a muggle named Alexander Laurens, after graduating Hogwarts. Eliza was born in October of 2009. Two years later, her little sister Angelica, was born. Eliza always loved magic and grew up surrounded by it. Family is very important to her since she was raised in a house where everyone was very loving and supportive. Her mom was a Hufflepuff and worked at St. Mungo's as a nurse. Her dad helped with muggle sports. But they always had a family dinner every night. Eliza tends to put family above herself.
First Instance of Magic:
Eliza's first instance of magic came when she was 9 years old while she was listening to music. She was bored and she looked at her stuffed animal. All of a sudden it started to float, but then it fell as soon as she looked away. Eliza was very confused, so she ran downstairs to ask her mom what was going on. The moment Eliza explained what happened, her mom's eyes lit up and she called her father into the kitchen. Her mom was excited that her daughter was a witch and her father was happy that her mom was excited. Eliza's little sister still didn't know. But once Eliza got her letter, her little sister tried to make herself to magic so she could get a letter to Hogwarts as well.
