Physical Description: Waist-length, curly, dark brown hair that is usually kept in a low, loose bun. Light brown eyes with long thick eyelashes. Almost average height, being 5'5. Athletic build from years of sports. Mixed skin tone from parentage. Mother is a Scottish witch and father is an Egyptian muggle.

Mental Description: Grace is sweet, goofy, and excitable. At 11 years old, she's in love with life. Her family is very adventurous, so being on her own at Hogwarts doesn't make her nervous. She's not the type to around doing nothing, she loves to run around, make friends, and find mischief to get into. Though she has such a lively spirit, her life isn't without challenge. Grace was diagnosed with Autism just a few months prior to the start of the school year (yes, this character is being written by an author who is herself, autistic) so sometimes fitting in can be hard. But she embraces who she is and all of her awkwardness and hopes her new friends will too!

Biography: Prior to attending Hogwarts, Grace led a normal wizarding life. She was homeschooled by her mother, who is a witch, and spent a lot of time traveling with her family. She has one younger sister who is 6 years old and a pet bird named Lila, who she left at home. She had quite a few friends who were mostly muggles, so she struggled balancing her magic life and her normal life.

First Instance of Magic: Her first accidental use of magic occurred when she was 9 and having a playdate at the park with one of her muggle friends. Their moms were off chatting while Grace and her friend played on the monkey bars. Grace was really scared of getting on the monkey bars for the first time, so after her friend showed her how, she tried reluctantly. After swinging on the second bar, her hands slipped and she fell, but way slower than she should have. Her friend was bewildered, shouting "that was like magic!" over and over again while Grace cried from shock. Her mom rushed over and they both knew what had happened but brushed it off since the other mom hadn't seen.
